“Best B & B Experience Ever!”

Bill advised me to make my deposit for our stay into a designated U.S. bank account. I wasn't sure I could trust this, as I'd run into a couple of Mexican hotels taking our deposits and then denying that we'd ever sent one, once we arrived. But I want you to know that you can trust Bill. Completely. Not only with money, but directions, advice on where to eat, what to see, which villages might be best for your own particular interests---everything. He has a big and generous heart, works hard, knows when to leave his guests alone, and does everything he can to make your stay a pleasant one. He's an excellent cook and storyteller, if you want him to join you at meals or an evening drink. Everything good that was said by other reviewers I can only second. My husband and I stayed with Bill to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary and we returned home with the gift of great memories. After we saw how simple it was to follow Bill's e-mailed instructions about how to get from the plane in Mexico City to the bus going to Cuernavaca we wished that U.S. airports were set up so conveniently. It was simple to get there. I have no hesitation to recommend Your Host Inn.

“Loved the B&B”

The B&B was in a lush garden setting with more flowers and foliage than I have ever experienced at a B&B. Bill is a fantastic chef, varying breakfast each of the 5 days we were there. He has 2 charming little chihuahua dogs (Mirnada & Coco Channel) that added so much to our visit. The price was very reasonable by US standards. Bill is a great host balancing having just the right amount of interaction with the guests. Bill is very accommodating in meeting your needs. He has lots of ideas for things to do in the area. The B&B is a 10 min. walk from downtown. He has a friend, Ricardo, in Mexico City who (for a fee) showed us around Mexico City and was just great to be with and to learn from. Bill has a separate summary of our experience with Ricardo available if you e mail him. The deposit into Bill's account in advance was different than the US but worked very well.

We had a fantastic time during our stay at Yourhostinn in Cuernavaca. Bill provided us with all the information we needed, in a step by step format, getting from the airport in Mexico City to his front door in Cuernavaca. He and his staff are wonderful hosts that do everything they can to make you feel right at home. The patios are serene and relaxing. It is very central to all major attractions. He provided us with good food, good conversation, and good friendships. I highly recommend this B&B to anyone planning a trip to Cuernavca. You will certainly leave with good memories and new friendships.

“Excellent B&B, wonderful host”

Bill is a wonderful host. The rooms were clean, breakfasts were gourmet, and it felt like home when we returned from a day of touring Cuernavaca. Walking distance to the market and close to the center of the city - all we had to do was step out the door and hail a cab. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

“noisy, owner thinks "gourmet" means margarine and cremora coffee whitener...”

why would anyone stay here? charming and quaint: yes. overblown and cheezy website: yes. getting what you expect: no. run by self styled artiste and gourmet, serving powdered milk for your coffee, margarine for your toast is not gourmet. even sanborns does better than that.

mexico is full of small cozy hotels on the cheap. why pay double for pretense?
