“Class Hotel filled with friendly service”

We absolutely love the location, the beauty of the property and gardens, the architecture, and the quality of service. During our ten day stay, the staff was always attentive to our needs, often without us even having to ask. Our room was very large, over 700 sq.ft, and had a nice garden view. We did hear a "clanging" sound in the morning as cars drove over a man-hole cover which would "pop-up" when they drove over it; but it appeared to only happen when people seemed to purposely aim at it. The bathroom was huge and the shower/tub could hold an orchestra.

The hotel restaurant was wondeful, romantic, friendly, and the service exceptional. There are so many wonderul restaurants within two to three blocks of the hotel, that it made it difficult to decide where to dine each night. We emjoyed our stay so much, that we are returning again this year.

“Bad luck I guess”

The Hotel itself is wonderful, and most conveniently located, the room I saw was very nice with Jacuzzi, well maintained and had all standard amenities.

I asked for a hotel brochure and was told there are non available due to price changes for 2007. In any case the room rates given to me were about 4.000 to 4.500 for the standard and deluxe suite and almost 12.000 for the presidential suite.

The Hotel Reception service did luck in respect to attitude and friendliness, the security guard was sitting in the hotel lobby and chatting with one hotel guest.

The garden areas a very well maintained equally to all other Guest areas I did see that day, the place is beautiful and has much to offer.

The Restaurant was very busy that night, the live music was great, guest service was below standard so was the Set Menu. Not considering the correctness of the Set Menu served that night, every dish served on our table was cold. Keeping in mind that Quinta Real is one of the leading Hotel Operators in Mexico I was to say it positively VERY DISAPOINTED with the service, quality and attitude rendered that night. May be I just had bad luck that day.

“Best in GDL”

This was my 2nd 4 night stay at this property in Guadalajara. After much research, both on line and in talking to locals in the industry, everyone is in agreement that this is the best hotel in the city.

Grand Master Suites are much larger than the regular rooms and are only $20 more per night. Well worth the investment at $210 USD per night. Rooms are always clean and comfortable. Free high speed internet, decent bathroom amenities, in room safe, well stocked mini bar, large seating area with and entertainment system. (CD player with Radio) Air conditioning works wonferfully. Nightly turn down with robe, slippers, chocolate and some words of wisdom are a nice touch. Housekeeping is respectful of DND sign and quick to clean the room when needed

Hotel recently added more meeting space with a nice gym on the floor above it. 6 varying machines for cardio, nautilus setup and some free weights and benches will cater to just about any work out. Free bottled water and towels are in the facility. Also have 2 flat screens to help pass the time.

Business center has 2 pc's for use with internet access. They also can provide just about any business related service you need.

Pool is small but will serve the purpose if you need to cool off or get some sun.

Restaurant and bar are just okay. They are a little pricey for the quality of food but the atmosphere is nice. Plenty of indoor and covered outdoor seating avaialbility. Service was okay.....I would reccomend this more for drinks and appetizers than for full meals.

Location is central and easily accessible by car. Walking distrance to three other restaurants/bars, atm/banking and across the street from a pharmacy/convenience store.

Hotel is perfect for business travelers or leisure travelers who do need need resort style facilities. No need to look further for lodging while visiting Guadalajara. This is the place to be.

“Comfortable, clean, friendly but pretentious restaurant w/mediocore food”

Quinta Real Guadalajara

Several buildings with faux spanish construction and decor surrounded with nice grounds and a few trees. There is a small pool and a nice terrace that is under construction. The employees are friendly and helpful.

The restaurant has a overly pretentious menu and all but the simple items are just so-so and the service is disorganized. You may or may not like the live music for breakfast, lunch and dinner, while they try hard, the performers are not ready for prime time.

This is certainly the best hotel in Guadalajara today but I sure wish they would improve the restaurant service and rethink the menu.

“Like a piece of heaven!”

This is my last day at the Quinta Real and I´ve been here for 3 nights. It reminds me of a beautiful home in a secluded oasis. It´s a short distance from a wonderful restaurant called La Matera which serves delicious Argentine food. The room at the hotel was exquisite, beautifully decorated overlooking a flower filled courtyard. The restaurant at the hotel was wonderful and they have a buffet on Sunday which has a lot of native dishes. La Matera and La Tequila are two restaurants within walking distance. All of the staff are top notch and very helpful at the hotel. There was even a wedding while I was here. Hotel is located near the Minerva district. You can take a bus to Tonala on the weekend to go to the outdoor market which is fun. Buses are nearby as well as a Banamex to change money. You can also walk to Galleria del Calzado which is shopping center with only shoes. Great location, beautiful room, outstanding staff and I highly recommend Quinta Real. I´d definitely stay there again!
