What a wonderful surprise! This boutique hotel gave premium service every day. Only 3 blocks from the Intercontinental. Walking distance to the Plaza del Sol. Free breakfast, evening snack, and wireless internet in the room. Pleasant and relaxing. The only problem for me was the hard bed. Pillow were nice but mattess was extremely firm. Still, I will return and stay again.

My wife and I travel to guadalajara several times a year. We have stayed at all the major hotels so have started looking for something more special. This hotel offers all the amenities of a larger upscale hotel suck as internet service in our room(their computer) wall safes, special bath products, spa amd private gardens. This is an adult only boutique hotel. Complementary breakfast and evening snacks all were excellent. They have a small restaurant and bar. All the people we met were regulars mostly on business. They offer secure valet parking as well. An easy 3 block walk to one of Guadalajara's largest mall is also an asset. Give it a try. you won't be disappointed.

A great place to stay. Rooms are large and beautifully decorated. Service was superb. The computer room was available on a 24 hr basis and it was free.

The breakfast buffet was a delight. I have no hesitation in recommending this place to the most demanding guest.

In addition, this hotel is located in a nice suburb of Guadalajara and it is safe and accesible. All in all I consider it a six stars hotel.

We came to Guadalajara to see our Son get married - We had this hotel recommended for our needs. What a wonderful place. We felt it was the best hotel we have ever stayed in. The staff were very kind an helpful always there when you needed them and their English was perfect. After making the long journey to be there, 2 days relaxing in their beautiful garden I felt like I had been on holiday for 2 weeks. The bedrooms were very spacious and very nicely furnished. Spotlessly clean with lots of nice little touches. The public rooms were beautifully furnished, computers and faxes for those who needed them and a lovely little library, A real home from home. The food was excellent, you could have what ever you wanted and if they did not have it they would get it for you.
We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay for our first taste of Mexico.
Well done to the staff and management of the Mansion del Sol.
Would not consider staying any where else for the next visit to Guadalajara.
