I chose Villa Maria Cristina as a surprise to my husband for our 6th anniversary and we both loved it. Stayed at this boutique hotel for 2 nights.

We had drinks at the bar which is very nice decor. Breakfast is included on daily rate, great service, nice taste. Superb shower, Bulgary amenities, heated pool and sauna.

If you want to visit Guanajuato, keep in mind to bring comfortable shoes, it is walking city. Parking is a nightmare so although the hotel location may be an issue for those who mind walking, you can either catch a cab or a bus for few pesos and be in downtown in less than 10min.

Minor issues to be taken care of, like our room A/C, it needed some adjustment, too small parking space if you get there by car. Other than that, staff took very good care of us.
