We took one of the tours to Monte Alban. It is a good way to hear the history. However, don't take the tour bus back. It is easy to take one of the collectivo taxis back. The tours do not allow enough time at Monte Alban. There are many trails at Monte Alban with alot of flowers and birds. One couple at our B&B were bird watchers. They spent the entire day at Monte Alban and saw 20 different types of hummingbirds. It is also nice to be able to spend more time sitting on top of a pyramid power spot and reflecting.
