I recently returned from the best vacation of my life. I stayed at the IslaMar Vacation Villas. They are centrally located to Town and the beach... very spacious... clean and all the ammenities one needs to spend a week or a month.... I dove with Dive Paradise.. Wow..what an operation. They picked us up, not far from the IslaMar Vacation Villas, at the Baracuda hotel..and left from their dock... Had the best diving. Say 3 turtles on one dive. Also saw a nurse shark swimming... WOW. I saw so many species.. on this week of diving... that I have already reserved another trip this coming winter.... Thanks to the Villas and Dive Paradise for making this a trip that will never be forgotten... Jim Piere

We did the hotel thing in Cozumel a couple of times but then found IslaMar Villas. It's incredibly clean. Very nicely decorated. Perfect for travelers looking for a great place to stay that's not touristy.IslaMar's become our home away from home when we stay in Cozumel. From the minute we set foot in the courtyard, we feel like we're at home.Sherri and her staff are wonderful. Very conscientious of their guests comfort. I highly recommend IslaMar to those folks who are looking for a more intimate experience of the island.

I'm picky about where I vacation, but I keep going back to IslaMar because we have a consistently good experience there. Suites are clean, modern, and stocked with all the things you need plus the extras (like good books). American owner lives on the island and is exceptionally customer service oriented. She doesn't cut corners. Great place for divers, with equipment lockers and rinse tank. If you don't like the noise and lack of privacy of a big hotel, try this quiet getaway away from the tourist frenzy.
