My sister and I and our two daughters stayed at Casita de Maya from March 22nd to March 30th. We walked from the airport to the hotel and were greeted by Dan when we arrived. Dan is the greatest. He knows the island inside and out and gives great advise on everything. He organized parasailing for us plus a jeep excursion. Once we turned in our rental car he would call a cab for us anytime we needed one. He definately goes above and beyond to make your Cozumel experience a good one. Our mantra was "Ask Dan" the whole week we were there. Everything he suggested worked out great. I read all of the reviews before booking and now that I've stayed there I can easily say all of the reviews are dead-on. The hotel is clean, thanks Jolie, and very comfortable beds, bedding and towels. Great air conditioning plus a fan and nice hot showers. We rented the Queen room and the adjoining twin room. We basically used the rooms to sleep and shower and the rest of the time we were exploring the island. Mid week we were very tired and Dan suggested we order in pizza. It was a great idea. We didn't even think they would have pizza delivery in Cozumel. We walked around the surrounding neighborhood and had fun going to the little store to buy soda and snacks. We hope to visit Cozumel again. If we do, we will definately stay at Casita de Maya.

Our group had a fabulous time at Casita de Maya. We rented the whole place out enjoyed every minute of our time there.

The hotel is very clean, safe, and has incredible features. Dan was a great host and helped us get everything we needed :) We'll definitely be back next year.

We just returned from a stay at Casita de Maya. We were on the way to a corporate meeting in Cancun and went a few days early to dive and experience Cozumel. Dan was a wonderful host with personality plus! He steered us in all the right directions when it came to using the best dive shops, what restuarants to eat at, etc..
His inn is a work in progress with a new kitchen in the making, but even with the construction, the rooms were immaculate, warm and had a touch of elegance and class. His maid was wonderful, even washing some of our clothes by hand! You cannot get these kind of personal touches at any other hotel.

This place had it all. As soon as we pulled up we were created by the friendly staff. Dan, the owner, was soon on hand to welcome us, and to upgrade us to a king size room!

The hotel is on the edge of town, but as a taxi ride downtown only costs $3 a trip it really doesn't matter.

The hotel it's self is lovely. All rooms open on to a center courtyard, with a lovely pool in which you can take a refreshing dip. The room we had was large and airy. We had a king bed, and the en-suite bathroom was just fitted. Dan purchases all of the furniture and bedding in the U.S. so everything is of the highest quality.

Although the hotel is close to the airport there was little noise while we were there.

Dan and his friend Tracy who looked after the place in Dan's absence, couldn't do enough for you, from organising taxi's to recommending restaurants - Dan even organised a trip snorkeling for us whilst we were there.

If you want to stay in a lovely hotel, with all the comforts of home, with great service then this is THE place to stay on Cozumel.
