Eva and Scott, the proprieters of this beautiful retreat property, did everything to make my stay memorable from the first moment I arrived. The location is in the mountains above San Miguel Allende and you couldn't imagine a more picturesque spot to experience the real Mexico. I stayed in "Sonoma," a gorgeous Cabana (designed and built by Scott, the architect of all the new structures on the property) that just radiated peace and tranquility. I think I've slept better there than I have anywhere in the past year.

Yoga classes, workshops and excursions were all incredible, and the fresh, healthy food was a godsend.

I highly recommend this retreat to anyone who wants to get back in touch with themselves, or to simply appreciate the natural beauty of central Mexico.

My husband and I stayed at Sagrada Wellness on a trip to celebrate our 7th wedding anniversary. My aunt had recommended Sagrada and not only did it live up to my expectations but exceeded in every way. The proprieters, Eva and Scott are fabulous hosts, cooks and have constructed a unique experience in the mountains just outside the fabulous city of San Miguel de Allende. The rooms are very tastefully designed and include all the right amenities - luxurious sheets, a cozy down comforter, a beautiful stone shower and a view that is hard to rival. Just when I thought this couldn't get any better I scheduled an appt with Eva for an accupuncture facial - Eva is a very skilled acupuncturist and the treatment room in a 500 year old building Scott, an architect updated featured a heated treatment table that was so relaxing I nearly fell asleep. We are already planning our next trip and left with a gift certificate for my parents to visit Sagrada as a thank you for taking care of our son.

This was one of the best spa/retreat experiences ever! I have previously been a guest at Rancho la Puerta and Rio Caliente, but Sagrada was the most affordable and most relaxing of all three. As well, the yoga/pilates instructions were expertly taught, taking our various levels in mind. Meals were delicious and plentiful and in the tradition of vegan (some fish, too). Treatments were excellent: acupuncture and massage (one of my choice was complimentary).
The staff was caring and sensitive to my needs. I expect to be a repeat visitor each chance I get! JM

Such a magical place...it is hard to describe in words. I didn't want to leave and I can't wait to go back. Best thing i have done for myself in ages.
