We spent October 11-15, 2007 at the Cabo Inn Hotel. I would have to say that this is the cutest hotel that I have ever stayed at. The location is right in the center of everything. We walked to everything that we did.The Inn was very clean and well kept. The Inn keepers Stanley and Maria were beyond wonderful. The interior of the Inn with its common area, and the sitting area on the third floor with the pool and library where sooo relaxing. Without televisions in the rooms, you actually get to meet your fellow Inn stayers, everyone there during our stay was extremely nice. We wish that we could have stayed longer and next time we will. This is the only place in Cabo that we will ever stay. The best place to unwind and relax in Cabo. Location location location. Thanks again to Stanley and Maria for making our stay a wonderful memory.

“Good value, Good experience”

Cabo Inn Hotel

If you're looking for a convenient and cozy place for a good price, this is a good choice. I booked this hotel through a package deal with a friend, and we both enjoyed our stay. If you're looking for luxury, however, look elsewhere - there are plenty of other choices in Cabo. For good value, you absolutely cannot complain about the size of the rooms, or the lack of a bathroom door (it's just a curtain). You also can't complain about the beds, which are mere sponges placed on raised stucco platforms.

The rooms may be small, but there are plenty of patio area seating and couches, which gives the place a real community feel. It was peaceful and relaxing in the mornings. The owner was helpful in recommending restaurants, as well as booking us a snorkeling tour, which was one of our favorite experiences in Cabo. The location is also convenient.

Admittedly, I saw a giant roach in the bathroom at one point. It doesn't affect my opinion of the hotel, because I expect to see that anywhere, but some people may find this to be useful information.

“A nice friendly secret to a high priced area of Mexico”

First of all, check out the website: caboinnhotel . com

As you can see, by no means is this a fancy hotel. If this is what you are looking for you can stop reading now.

This is a basic hotel with around 20 rooms. When you stay here you feel like you are in Mexico. You feel secure. The front door is locked from 10pm - 8am. You have a key to the front door so you can come and go as you please.

The rooms are well air conditioned and all have bathrooms. My bed was really comfortable. It had a nice soft mattress. I was on the second floor so the water pressure was not the greatest. I didn't mind because there is plenty of water pressure at Medano Beach!

I met some friendly people while staying at the Cabo Inn. We went in on a fishing boat together. We caught many, many tuna. That was a fun day. The boat captain cleaned the fish and we brought them back to the hotel. Stanley, the owner of the hotel, created a fantastic dinner of grilled tuna and salad for us. He only asked that he join us for dinner to enjoy our catch!

The owners are very helpful in helping you get the most out of your Cabo experience. There is plenty of information and you are able to book your excursions at the hotel. If you ever have questions, they are happy to help. If I ever come back to Cabo San Lucas, I plan to stay at the Cabo Inn.

“Great Hotel, Management, and Location”

Cabo Inn Hotel

5 of 5 stars
Washington DC, District of Columbia

The Cabo Inn is the perfect hotel for the budget traveler, or anyone who wants a no-frills hotel with a lot of character situated in the perfect location right in the middle of Cabo.

Our group had two rooms with 2 twin beds each, as well as one of the rooftop Palapas. The palapa was incredible! It had no A/C but was pretty much entirely open to the breezes and had a fantastic balcony. The small pool and library (open to the entire hotel until 10pm) are right outside of your door.

The twin rooms have A/C and are clean and basic. You won't find in room televisions or telephones, but you're in Cabo with a million things to do, so if you'd rather be in your room watching 300 channels of satellite tv then stay at one of the mega resorts. There is a communal TV and fridge in the common area on the first floor.

The management of the Cabo Inn is fantastic. Stanley was extremely helpful in booking a variety of tours, from dune buggies to scuba diving. The hotel can get you some good deals and discounts on tours as well.

Maybe the best part about the Cabo Inn is the location. You are a 10 minute walk from the beach, a 2 block walk from the center of town with shopping, dining, bars, marina, etc. Also don't neglect the more "local" restaurants right outside the door. Pick up 3 or 4 tacos for a fraction of what you'd pay at the more touristy restaurants in town.

Overall this is really a great find. It has the character and friendliness of a good hostel combined with the privacy and comfort of a hotel. I highly recommend the Cabo Inn.

“Awesome, unique & truly memorable”

I have visited Cabo before but never knew how wonderful the City was until I stayed at the "Cabo Inn." I arrived and was amazed at how friendly and clean the place was. I spent the first half hour taking pictures of the place. My wife could not believe how great all the plants looked too. The "Cabo Inn" was very affordable, and I am glad I did not rent a car since it was in the middle of everything. We could not have imagined a better place to stay. We walked 10 minutes to the beach everyday, then sat in the pool upstairs until we left to eat at many of the nearby restaurants. The best part was meeting many other guests in the Atrium while we cooked our lunch etc, or watched TV then bar hopped together. We felt like we were with many friends there and can't wait to go back. Thanks also to the management for getting us discounts on everything we did at the beach- we really saved more then we paid for the week.
