We (father and son) booked reservation through Hotel.com.
When we arrived, the Inn Keeper seemed very nice and polite.
But that was not unique, as mostly all we met in Cabos were nice and polite.
The hotel is a 'dump'. The room resembled a jail cell (though we never spent a night in jail, we saw a few on TV...).
The beds were tiny. There was no bathroom door but a flimsy curtain partially covered the frame.
There was a very stren and restrictive set of rules which the Inn Keeper refered to several times.
There is one SMALL TV in the public area and no one allowed to watch TV after 10PM.
The room's only window faced a noisy street.
The "pool" was a tub size enclosure on the the third floor and the rules were again very restrictive as to the "pool' usage.
There was a $5 deposit for the keys. The Rule Book warned that it will cost $100 to replace a lost key.
The place was very noisy as one can hear other guests (especially if they broke the rules....).
The rule book (and the Innn Keeper) suggested leaving the key deposite as a tip for the maid.
We checked out the next morning and soon found out that we paid twice the amount per night using Hotels.com compared to what we would have if we checked in on our own.
We also found MANY hotels within walking distance which were in the same price range but were quiet, clean, with bathroom doors and a TV in the room, and a much more User Friendly set of rules.

This was my second stay at the Cabo Inn and under new management and I want to let folks know it's still the best "home" in Cabo. The Inn is clean (thanks Maria), comfortable, friendly (thanks Stanley and Maria) and safe (thanks Elieth). No where else in Cabo can you sip coffee in the common kitchen in the morning, head out on adventures recommended by the staff who have lived there for 15 yrs plus, come home for beers by the social pool showing off great maket finds, siesta on comfy beds in airconditioned rooms and then head out for a stroll to local Cabo 1/2 block away or Cabo Wabo just a few blocks farther. This is the BEST!!

The hotel was very cute with a tiny pool and a nice lounge on the roof with a library of books and comfy chairs. The rooms were very affordable and the manager let us bargain with him to satisfy the budgets of myself and the three other students I was staying there with. It was an excellent experience and I will be going back and I'll recommend it to all my friends too. THANK YOU FOR THE WONDERFUL TIME!!!

We don't like resorts, so when we decided to go to Cabo, we checked out the "economy hotes" -- the Cabo Inn is one of the coolest places we've stayed!!!! The atmosphere and energy of the place is just fabulous! Management folks are great and tended to every need of the guests. It's a small hotel, and we got to know many new people that we spent time at dinners, etc with while there. All the guests even got together for a movie night one evening. The social areas are wonderful - especially the rooftop! Palapa rooms are well worth the extra $$ - paradise in the middle of old Cabo!!! Elieth, Stanley and Maria are such great hosts!! You will want to stay again and again!! We are already planning the next visit to our new home in Cabo :-) Close to everything -- great food within a block, and only five minutes walk to the tourist area and the marina.
