Business serviceAs the first stop on our honeymoon, my husband and I stayed at the Alpine Village in Deluxe Cabin #21, which faced the Athabasca River. It was the cabin nearest to the road, but we didn't notice any noise at all, and had a gorgeous view! The hot tub is fabulous, and the staff is great, pleasant and accomodating. We had to check in late, had some difficulty finding the place at night in the dark, and were worried about what we would find. But the staff left an envelope in the main building door with our name clearly written on it, with our keys and a note welcoming us and congratulating us on our marriage!
We loved the Alpine Village! We cut our own free firewood and cooked dinners in our cabin. The rooms are decorated in a great lodge style, and the kitchen is stocked with pots, pans and dishes. We split our time between Jasper, Lake Louise and Banff, but when we go back again, we are staying solely in Jasper, at the Alpine Village, it was that great (especially hiking at Mt. Edith Cavell, the Jasper Tramway/Whistlers, and North Face Pizza in Jasper Townsite after a long hike to eat pizza and onion rings!). Our cabin was comfortable and wonderful, and we had a very unique and special honeymoon. Highly recommended.

ServiceWe just returned from a 6 night stay at Alpine Village in a deluxe suite cabin. This was our second visit. Last year we stayed 3 nights and it was not nearly enough. The place is absolutely wonderful. Very Very Clean. The staff is extremely helpful in things to do, restaurants to eat at, and where to view wildlife. Thanks Christine for the bear location. We already made our reservations for next year. Our favorite place, and we travel about 5 weeks a year. This place is truly a hidden gem. Thank you Alpine Village.

ServiceSpent four nights in a deluxe suite recently and have to say this was my favourite place in our whole of Rockies/Vancouver trip. All the cabins/suites are in a wonderful setting with forest behind and great views along the Athabasca river just opposite the village. Originally booked this because of all the brilliant reviews it receives and wasn't disappointed.
There is only one small improvement I would make. The suites don't have full kitchens, just a convenience area with fridge, microwave and coffee maker, would also have been nice to have a few basic pieces of crockery and cutlery like we had elsewhere with a similar set up. Apart from that I would say it was perfect.

Business serviceI originally had a reservation at the Fairmont Jasper but canceled it
after reading the reviews on TripAdvisor. Boy am I glad I did!
Alpine Village is an absolute jewel. The service is friendly and personable. The room that my wife and shared was their smallest cabin
with a shared wall. Think duplex.
I was initially worried about noise and comfort, as this a appeared to be a "value" priced property. No worries! Reality proved the room to be small and extremely comfortable and well designed.
Housekeeping was superb! The bathroom was spotless and like new. No mold or mustiness (like my experience at two Fairmont locations).
The bed was perfectly comfortable, with thick feather pillows and a cozy down comforter. I purposely left off the heat at night and we awoke toasty warm and refreshed.
Noise was non existent, we never heard our neighbors and easily slept
late (too late).
This is an awesome value, and our stay here the highlight of our week
long Canadian vacation. I can recommend it and you will love it!
They book up fast so be sure to reserve early. Try to get a single cabin with a fireplace.
Oh, and in walking distance is a delicious restaurant at the Tenaya Lodge. You might see an elk on the way there, we did!
