I love this hotel. The service is great and the property is fabulous! The decor is colorful and cheery -- what a treat. Good sized rooms; unlike some reviews below, I did not find the bed hard--it was just fine! Lovely linens and fine Aveda toiletries. I am so glad I found this hotel--I will stay here whenever I am in Vancouver.

This was my first time staying at Le Soliel and will certainly not be my last. From the nicely appointed lobby with a couple of comfortable lounge areas to the fantastic one bedroom suite visitors are engulfed in chic Euro style. The staff was also to the European standards of excellence where hoteliers hold their professional positions as full careers.
The hotel location was right in the middle of the city which was convenient for walking to most of my meetings but also nice for window shopping and going to one of the many fine coffee houses which seem to be every 20 feet.
You cannot go wrong staying at this hotel, I highly recommend it. It fits well within the lovely city of Vancouver.

My family recently stayed at Le Soleil Hotel and Suites. We were returning from a ski trip to Whistler and decided to spend the night in Vancouver reduce the stress of catching an early am flight home.

The property was very well put together. Furnishings and materials were better than I've often found in boutique hotels - where the property location, condition and service can be hit or miss.

Staff was extremely helpful and accomodating. They worked to make our 4:30am departure smooth and convenient, even though the front desk is normally "on-call" rather than staffed at that time of day.

Overall, I found the hotel to be much better than I'd expected. We will definitely stay there again next year when we return to Whistler.

A lot of charm and in the middle of everything. You can walk to Canada Place, Gastown or Robson Street all within 5-10 mins. maximum. A good safe location. For the price, a very good hotel. The rooms are broken up into bedroom, bathroom and living area. The rooms are clean and well appointed. The lobby is very attractive and the staff was very helpful. If you want to stay in downtown Vancouver, stay at the Le Soleil!
