“I enjoyed my stay”

Marriott Pinnacle Vancouver

5 of 5 stars
San Francisco, CA.

I stayed here for two nights after a trip to Whistler. I chose this hotel because of the reviews and the great package offered via the Marriott website. I read several of the negative reviews and after my stay I could only agree with the quote "you can't please all of the people all the time". My experience was like the majority of the reviewers. The hotel was exceptionally clean, the staff was very courteous and helpful and the location is excellent.
I booked the package for "Cars eat free" for $179, which included a $25 gas card for each night of stay, and complimentary parking (self or valet). Like most large cities, downtown hotel parking is not free, and the price at the Pinnacles is on par with other hotels.

Based on the recommendation of a previous reviewer, I chose valet parking so I didn't have to hike to and from the garage. The valet service was quick. The two times I called for the car, it was at the front door waiting for me after I came down from my room.

This is not a luxurious hotel and the price reflects that, so people should not have the same expectations as if staying at the Fairmont or Pan Pacific and paying twice the rate. The location of the hotel is most convenient. The waterfront and Canada Place is two blocks north. Pacific Center shopping mall is three blocks to the east. If you are looking for stores and restaurants just walk two blocks south to West Georgia Street.

Their refrigerator did not have any mini bar items, but they did provide us with two bottles of water. Considering the price that hotels charge for the convenience of mini bar snacks and drinks, I'm thankful they provided a refrigerator for me to store my own drinks.

We stayed in an upper floor unit and did not hear any street noise
and the neighbors were very quite. I enjoyed my stay and would be back if I'm in Vancouver, especially if they have those great packages.

“Nice Hotel”

Marriott Pinnacle Vancouver

This is a very nice hotel in an excellent location. We walked to everthing except Stanley Park (Aquarium-nice), Lynn Canyon Park (hiking, suspension bridge-free) and Granville Island (shops, art). The rooms were clean, nicely furnished and modern. The bathrooms have a separate shower and tub. The beds were quite comfortable. The hotel was very quiet. Self parking ran $23.00/day and is under the hotel with elevator access to the lobby. If you want a view of the water, get a room above the 25th floor that ends with a 1, 2, 19 or 20. We did not eat at the hotel but the restaurant looked good. We ate breakfast at Goodfellas and Christines (both across the street). Goodfellas was probably a little better but both were fine. Would definitely stay here again.

“Best Marriott in BC?”

Marriott Pinnacle Vancouver

Just moved from the Renaissance Harbour View to the Marriott Pinnacle. It's much, MUCH better by comparison. Staff was extremely professional and efficient. Pool and gym are also 24 hours. Feels a lot cleaner and newer. Wonderful view - though partially obstructed - but still nice. We even got to see the seaplanes takeoff and land right from our room. We had a problem with our safe and they fixed it promptly. They even delivered us extra shampoo and toothbrush promptly. Just a overall POSITIVE experience.

“Excellent”

Excellent Choice! Our delightful 7-night stay began and ended with the welcoming bell staff. Our room was spotless and cozy, albeit a bit small, with a corner window view of east. The bathroom was almost as large as the room with a separate tub and shower. A safe and bar refridgerator was provided as was office needs such as a ruler, sissors, paperclips, etc...Breakfast, Dinner and Room service pizza were yummy. The Health Club had just received new equipment and I enjoyed one of the treadmills and it's own private television. My highest compliment is to the staff of this property. Everyone, regardless of position was the most welcoming, helpful and authentic we've experienced at any property, outside of a B&B in years.

“Wonderful hotel @ the edge of the Financial District and Coal Harbour”

Marriott Pinnacle Vancouver

5 of 5 stars
Seattle, Washington
Mar 22, 2008

I just completed a wonderful stay at the Pinnacle Hotel in downtown Vancouver.

The staff at the hotel were very hospitable and the room decor was clean, modern, and luxurious. The ONLY gripe I have with the hotel is the ridiculous charge they have for internet (which they group with the phone).

Otherwise.

You can't beat the location for business, right immediately next to the towering skyscrapers of the Financial District yet also near the posh Coal Harbour neighbourhood.

And being in the big city, there's plenty to see and do and all of it is within the confines of the downtown peninsula core! Vancouver is my favourite city in the world and the Pinnacle Hotel is definitely one of the city's best be it business or pleasure!
