“Good Place to Stay”

Delta Vancouver Suites Hotel

I stayed at this hotel for one night and it was a great place to stay. It was right downtown within walking distance to interesting sights, restaurants and the water. It was close to the main office for the Big Bus Tour company in case you're looking for a great way to see the city. It also felt really safe to be walking around there alone.

The only reason I've given this hotel an average rating is because I didn't try the restuarant or the other hotel amenities.

The room was nicely laid out, the bed was very comfortable, nice robe and toiletries in the bathroom. The room was clean and quiet and the newspaper was outside my door in the morning. It was exactly what I was looking for and I would definitely stay there again.

“Great Room!”

Delta Vancouver Suites Hotel

We booked this hotel via Hotwire and got an incredible deal. We were given a "basic" room on the 6th floor, but they offered us an upgrade to a higher floor with free internet for $30 more per night (we declined that).

We were very pleased when we walked into our corner room which had plenty of windows and two distinct rooms for living room and bed room. The living area had a desk, chair, couch, coffee table, and television. The bedroom had a queen sized bed, closet, and television. The bathroom was clean and a good size.

The room had a stocked minibar and snacks in the room. However, the prices for these items was outrageous. Additionally, they have room service available and the prices for this were way too high, so we never used it. Also, internet was not free -- $10 per day.

We had rented a car to drive up to Vancouver and found that we did not need it at all while in the city. So, we parked in a deck that is adjacent to the hotel. The cost was about $20 per day and had no in/out priveleges. This was fine with us, as we walked or took public transportation everywhere. But the hotel does have valet for $26 per day with in/out.

Overall, we were very very pleased, especially considering the great price we got.

“Great service and touch”

Delta Vancouver Suites Hotel

The staff were wonderful. They really went out of their way to make sure that we got good service. They would run to open the door for you. The linen and beds were top notch. The best touch of all was the warm cookies that they give out when checking in!

We just returned home and wanted to say what a great hotel. It was quiet and very comfortable. We loved that it was in close walking distance to many places in downtown Vancouver. We really like the Executive experience and will do it again. We highly recommend a stay at this hotel.

“Fantastic Hotel In A Beautiful City”

The Delta was just what we needed. A large, clean room, for a good price in a central location. The room was very big by hotel standards but I'm not sure I would classify it as a full suite, as it lacks a true living room area. Has two chairs instead of a couch. The beds were very comfortable with decent pillows. The staff was awesome. It being our first time in vancouver we had many questions which they not only answered but gave us customized answers to our specific wants a needs. We rented a car and altough very convnient and cheap for the area, there is a $26/day fee for valet(unlimted in and out makes this offer a steal though).
