A very good friend of ours works in mainteance. She gots us a great rate which we totally appreciate. This is a very nice hotel. The people here are very friendly. The hotel is right downtown which is great for our family to get to see the beautiful city of Victoria. We were able to walk to the places we were interested in seeing ie. the Parliament Building and the Wax Museum. We also enjoyed our lunch at the Spagetti Factory. The view from the building to see the harbour was magnificient. The hotel was very clean and the room was spacious. We enjoyed our visit in Victoria, many thanks to the place where we stayed and to my friend.

For my job I travel a lot - and after staying at this hotel I have BED BUGS.
This was a disaster from the beginning. the receptionist could not find my reservation and had to create a new one. every time I went to ask a question, she seemed really put out. She was unhelpful about wireless internet and my room was extremley basic. I have a number of items of luggage and was told to take the stairs.
The worst part is I now have bed bugs to deal with!

What a pleasant surprise. My family and I stayed here for two nights during a recent trip around Vancouver Island. The Huntington was clean, charming and convenient and the staff was exemplary: professional, courteous and accommodating. We got a great rate from HelloBC and had a wonderful stay at this quaint property located just across the street from the Clipper terminal and within very easy walking distance of the Inner Harbor's attractions (don't miss the Royal BC Museum).
The property features a wonderful garden, three restaurants, a wine shop and a pub as well as an artists' walk several days a week. I would not hesitate to stay here again or recommend it to anyone seeking a hotel in Victoria.

The Huntingdon is in a great location, but their service is terrible. The manager seemed put out when asked by the staff to help at the front desk. Papers were promised, then not delivered. We were then told the no longer offer papers. The room keys had to be reprogramed at least once a day in order to work. The rooms are clean and serviceable, but the furniture is about as cheap as I've seen in a decent hotel. No air conditioning in most rooms which is not a problem except during the summer. Not an impressive hotel, and with so many other choices I think I would look elsewhere.
