We initially (my spouse and parents) booked a loft room due to my medical needs (refridgeration for medications), however we booked two separte rooms. Our room was clean and somewhat outdated. We did not have an air conditioner and the only window available was the sliding glass door, which had no screens. Be forwarned, not all rooms are equal. My parents room was deffinately an upgrade from ours. My personal experience was having to wake up in the morning with bed bugs, they are not a myth! Two weeks later I went to my doctors and was diagnoised with skin scabies, no one else came down with it. When I told the staff about the bed bugs, I was told they would have moved us to another room and was given 50% off the normal rate. I should have clued in to the night before, when we came back from dinner and noticed a new mattress in the lobby, and two gentlemen bringing down a relatively new looking one. Otherwise my experience at Whistler was good. Friendly people, and good food.
