Had it not been for the cigarette smoke I would have given this hotel 10 out of 10. We have just returned from a three night stay at the hotel and eveything about the place was fine including the location. If you like shopping you couldn't get any nearer the shops. Unfortunately, however the ground floor of the hotel is the smoking floor and it would appear coming in through the reception area you have no option but to go through the smoking corridor to reach the elevator and stairs to get to the other floors. At times when the elevator opened on the third floor for us to get in it felt like we were walking into an ashtray - yuck - sorry to all you smokers out there but it really does make me feel sick. I did mention it to the reception and they said the hotel appeared to have a large number of smoking rooms occupied thus it was particulary bad that weekend. She also indicated their was going to be changes and the smoking area moved to the third floor - this certainly makes sense given smoke rises it will be less noticeable to those of us who don't smoke and make the entrance to the hotel much more pleasant. Otherwise no problems and I would stay here again

Like the other reviews for this hotel I have nothing but good comments. We arrived early before check in time, and went in to check just in case they had a room ready . They were busy from the night before, but the girl was so nice at the counter, that she let us check in to a upgraded room so we wouldn't have to wait around.
The suite was one of the nicer ones I've stayed at, with newer furniture, and a King size bed, with a feather bed cover on it. Topped with chocolates on each pillow. They offered us a key to a fully stocked bar, but I knew I wouldn't be there long enough to even use it. They also had snacks on the table, at a reasonable price, if you wanted, so you didn't even have to leave your room once you settled in for the night.
We were there for a function at the University, which is about a half hour away. Other then that everything you needed was within walking distance.. The mall being just across the street, and resturants all within walking distance.
All in all a great clean hotel with friendly employees !!

We checked in during the middle of the night due to flight delays, and were pleasantly surprised by the size of the room. The bedroom with 2 double beds was huge, and the living room with the pull-out couch had enough room for all 5 of us to spread out our luggage, sit & chat, and be comfortable. Great location too - there's a chinese restaurant right next door, a Subway across the street, and a short walk to the shopping mall.

This hotel was fairly priced -very clean and had a very nice staff that took the time to help out and they take dogs - a big plus - I stayed here for 3 nights on business and found it to be very easy to sleep at and you can find walking areas for pets not too far away.
