This motel turned us off to staying in clifton hill area ever again... we stayed here Saturday night Nov. 12th by chance because we couldn't find anywhere else that had reasonable price... we thought the $129/night was quite reasonable because it was right on clifton hill... We wouldn't stay in these kind of motels ever again.... first off the room was so dark and smelled and looked dirty even if it was a non smoking room... we were scared to walk around the room barefoot.... the beds were lumpy and so were the pillows... it looked like the room hasn't been renovated since they opened it... the bathtub and toilet is still the 60's or 70's style and color.. it was yellow for *&*(S's sake... when we turned on the cold water... nothing came on for like 5 secs then it made an awful sound before spitting out... then it would slow to a drip before coming out full force... hahaha... I never got to sleep because it was so noisy outside the whole night... unbeknownst to us... which we only realized when we drove around the next morning... behind our room was the the maze thing... that was why it was so noisy w/ people screaming and shouting!!! it was soooo bad... I would rather pay extra next time and stay at a much much much nicer hotel...

If you want a great location and don't care about sleeping-this is the place for you! There is a bar in the parking lot with speakers that BLAST music, that can be heard for blocks, until 2am! We were informed that this is the "party hotel" for local young people. Besides the noise, our air-conditioner was broken(no knobs), the faucet in the bathroom dripped, our phone was malfunctioning, the pillows looked and felt like they were stuffed with rags and the mattress was hard as a rock. They also "sell" your parking space to the other tourits for $10!! We took a ride and came back and caught someone pulling out or we would not have had a parking space at our own motel!! Will never go back to this motel.
