So, the location is terrific (5-10 minute walk to the falls and away from the busiest parts of Niagara Falls) but it was as filthy of a room as you can get. First of all, the pool is NOT heated, it was freezing, even my 7 year-old wouldn't stay in, and we have to drag her out of any pool normally. The hot tub by the pool was warm and worked, but looked pretty run down and dirty. The rooms were small and typical hotel rooms, however, the cleaning was minimal and abysmal. There was mold growing in the crevices between tiles, some tiles were bulging out, the shower lever that you pull to make the water shoot out of the shower head was a screw with no piece to hold onto, there was a thick dust film on the toilet paper holder and the towel rack, there were hairs on the toilet, floor and shower which were NOT ours (they were there the ENTIRE time - even after I wiped them away the first evening, they managed to resurface) and the cleaning person never swept or even attempted to clean the bathroom floor. Underneath of the beds has never seen a vacuum or sweeper, in fact, there were rubber bands for braces all over the floor of the room, and none of us has braces. I am not that picky about my hotel room, especially a cheap room in a great location, but I do think that being as clean as possible is a must for a hotel. It isn't a large hotel, so there can be no assuming that the cleaning staff is overwhelmed. We will never go back to this hotel due to these cleanliness issues, and we will never recommend the hotel to anyone.
