If you are tired of sterile cookie cutter hotel rooms, the Britaly sets the bar for B&B’s. The bedrooms are enhanced with rich vibrant colours and texture and our comfortable bed was covered in luxurious linens. We came in from the cold to the pleasure of a glass of wine and a cozy couch in front of the warm fireplace in our bedroom. Our hosts Graham and Aldo, were no minimalists when it came to creature comforts. Small details like a silver tray on the bedroom mantle holding wine glasses and a corkscrew, a guest fridge, and early morning coffee left outside of your room were a few of the thoughtful touches they provided. A hearty gourmet breakfast was presented complete with linens, china and silverware in a handsome dining room. The house was immaculate and gracefully decorated. We will absolutely be returning guests.

This was the first word uttered by my wife as we were shown into the english room at britaly.

The fabulous four-poster beds (we stayed in two different rooms) were very comfortable and both rooms had very good en-suite facilities.

In the course of our ten-day honeymoon to new york and niagara the niagara stint was the 'budget' part of the trip however there was nothing budget about the quality of our stay at the britaly.

The breakfasts are simply exquisite. We had freshly baked raspberry muffins, homemade granola with fruit and yoghurt, omlettes with spinach,ricotta and mushrooms.

The fact that I can recollect all this 4 months on should also tell you they were as tasty as they sound and if for nothing other than seeing what else the britaly can conjure up for breakfast we would gladly return.

Graham and Aldo are wonderful hosts and clearly masters of their trade. They obviously love what they do and the fact that this is not just a business to them really comes across in their warmth of conversation and willingness to help the whole of one's stay in the area.

I could not imagine anyone disliking a stay at the britaly and suspect most people would find it hard to even fault it.

In a word, Perfect.

We spent a lovely five days in Niagara-on-the-Lake in mid-October, starting out at the Britaly B&B. What a wonderful place to stay. Aldo and Graham are welcoming, warm, and helpful. Breakfast was superb. Their recommendation for dinner was the one of the finest we've ever received. They provide an excellent value. We moved on (to higher priced lodging) only because they had been previously booked. We plan to return to Britaly.

This was our second time at Britaly Bed & Breakfast and I must say the second visit was just as good, or better, than the first. Aldo and Graham are wonderful hosts. They are down to earth, have a great sense of humour and they whip up a fabulous, fill-me-up breakfast. We sat down in the living room before breakfast and had a lovely conversation about travelling and food. Honestly, it felt like we were talking to old friends. We've stayed in both the English Room and Italian Room (each have an ensuite). The rooms are comfortable and decorated in the style of its name. I highly recommend Britaly Bed & Breakfast to anyone looking for a warm and inviting place to stay. We will return to Niagara on the Lake and we will definitely stay at Britaly.
