“Perfect place to spend the night!”

Abacot Hall Bed & Breakfast

Apr 29, 2008

My friend and I had such an amazing time both by ourlseves and in the company of our hosts. Our rooms were clean and comfortable and the house itself is beautiful. I have to admit my favorite thing was breakfast. The dining area was so cute and the food was delightful. Also having bikes at our disposal was so convenient when it came to biking to different wineries. I will definitely go back again.

“The Best Part of Our Visit to NOTL!”

Abacot Hall Bed & Breakfast

Abacot Hall is a beautifully furnished B&B, and Pauline and Mike were wonderful hosts. They are knowledgeable, friendly, genuine people, and the house and room we stayed in were charming. Also, Mike makes a terrific breakfast! After visiting the Festival Theatre, the downtown area, Niagara Falls, and various wineries, my husband and I agreed that Abacot Hall was our favorite part of our weekend in NOTL. Can't recommend it enough!

“Simply the Best”

We cannot say enough about our experience at Abacot Hall.
It was our first trip to Niagara-on-the-Lake, and will not be our last. Pauline and Mike are wonderful hosts and so gracious. Before the first bag was in our room, we knew we had made the right choice.
Our room was bright and cheerful with two windows, nicely furnished, and the bed was comfortable. The whole house is tastefully decorated and immaculate. A self-serve beverage area is conveniently located on the landing outside the rooms. It is well stocked with glasses, teas, cocoa, and coffee. There is also a small fridge for guest use. The deck overlooks a lovely yard, and is very peaceful.
The sitting room on the first floor is a great place to read and relax after a long day of walking/touring. Wonderful art work surrounds you throughout the house.
As others have noted, breakfast is superb, but the true draw is spending time with Mike and Pauline. Their warm personalities make you feel immediately at home. Also, their advice was on the money. We felt that even though we only had three nights in the area, their suggestions helped us make the most of our time.
Can't wait to return to this lovely town and to Abacot Hall.

You will truly fall in love with Abacot Hall and the hosts who are so nice and gracious! What I loved the most was how comfortable you are at this cute Bed and Breakfast. It is in the perfect location, minutes away from the town and the wineries and you can walk, bike or drive in an instant.

My best friend and I stayed for two nights and we had a blast! They have bikes available for you to use which is an added bonus since we rode our bikes to some of the wineries and I would highly recommend it.
The rooms are great, and comes with a dvd and a selection of movies.
We really enjoyed the breakfast menu, and unlike many bed and breakfasts I've been to there's a lot of choice on the menu and you can pick as much or as little as you want to eat.
Overall we had a pleasurable stay and will be going back for sure! Thanks Mike and Pauline you were great.
