We stayed here as we had enough SPG points to pay for 2 nights. The location is great, walking distance to all the main sites of interest.

The room was a nice size, and the bed was comfortable, but the decor is quite dated.

The pool is also quite small, but was nice after a day's walking!

Overall, if I was paying I probably wouldn't stay here again.

I must say that I was very disappointed with this hotel. It certainly does not meet the quality standards that one would expect from a Sheraton property.

The hotel is VERY OLD and looks like it has not been renovated in 50 years!! The rooms are dark, the carpets are tacky and dirty, the service is so-so, and the restaurant food wbeyond disgusting. Also the 25 dollar/day valet parking is a total rip off and the very rude parking attendants seem to expect a nice tip every time you retrieve your car.

I would strongly discourage anybody who is considering a stay at this hotel in Ottawa. Stay at the Minto Suites. It's a million times better and almost half the price.

I stayed one night at the Sheraton. I had not heard much about the hotel so I was a little hesitant, The location is excellent . Right downtown and a 10 minute walk to the market area . Very friendly and accomodating staff. Great bar. Good sized room . I did not here another person all night.

Good Central Location in Ottawa. When booking in with my kids the bell boy offered crayons and a colouring book for them. Upgraded me to a SPG floor. Valet parking was good as I called for my car several times and it was brought around in less then 10min. My kids and I had the pool and sauna to ourselves. Room service pirces are resonable and thay have a 30min guaranty. Will stay again and recomend.
