We had a lovely stay at Montreal Boutique Suite, and thoroughly appreciated Michael's thoughtfulness and the hospitable touches such as the tray of sushi he presented on our arrival. The Sunday brunch was delicious (yummy eggs Benedict and waffles), and each breakfast was accompanied by a lovely selection of fresh fruit. Overall, the accommodations were modern, pleasing, and quiet. The kitchen was very nice --we used it quite a bit. A selection of dvds, cds, books and magazines entertained us during our at-home hours (very nice especially with the 44-pound limit on airline luggage). Our host graciously provided us information on more restaurants, historical sites and places of interest than we could have ever managed to see during our stay!.
Montreal is a beautiful city, cosmopolitan and accessible -- it was named as one of three world design cities by UNESCO. We thoroughly enjoyed the vibrancy of the Village quarter -- it was close to the metro and an array of interesting shops and restaurants. We used the subway exclusively for transportation, and my only complaint is that no provision is made for senior citizens on the Montreal metro -- so be prepared to climb some steep stairs depending on the station.
We enjoyed our stay at Montreal Boutique Suite, had a lovely time in Montreal, and thanks to Michael for helping to make our stay so pleasant!!
