I am sorry to disagree with previous reviewers but this is not a hotel. It is more of an inn as its name (Auberge) implies. At $89 per night compared to $120 or so for serviced apts, this is extremely poor value in low season. Room was very tiny, furniture was basic, small TV was secured to wall (as in hospitals or motels), bathroom was miniature (shower door and towel rack were loose), etc. On the plus side, most employees (except for a receptionist in training who took 5 minutes to open entrance and asked me once I took in my suitcases from the cold whether this was a check in or check out!) were extremely helpful and warm. I was upgraded to the best quality room at the same price, which was the only way I could have stayed given that my suitcases would have taken up most of the space of a "gold" room. Their website (as for most hotels) is rather misleading in terms of size of room. It is ironic that their name implies space (espace) when this is the most scare commodity! Perhaps this is good value in high season when rates for other hotel rooms most likely soar but I ended up moving to another hotel after having honored my 3-day commitment. I was looking forward to staying here based on their website and reviews posted on Trip Advisor but I was truly disappointed.
