My wife and I greatly enjoyed our stay at this charming hotel in Old Quebec City. The hospitality was very welcoming and the service impeccable (some excellent suggestions on what to see, where to eat from the hosts). Our room was of a generous size and was kept spotless throughout our stay. A *real* breakfast was included in our fare (i.e. a *real good* breakfast - not the tasteless ones that you get a many other places) with a great selection of delicious menu items (french toast, ham and eggs, croissants etc.) served with excellent coffee by the cheerful staff.

We are looking forward to our next visit - hopefully there will be a room avaliable...

We have just returned from a lovely Victoria Day weekend at Hotel Le Clos St-Louis - we chose this hotel based on the excellent location and the attractive pictures on the website. We were hoping for a charming, romantic atmosphere in keeping with the Victorian colonial period and were delighted that the reality was even better than the pictures! Our room was beautifully decorated (and impeccably maintained), well appointed with all the facilities we required, and only a few minutes' walk from both the centre of town and the city walls. Mme Donais and her staff made us feel very welcome - friendly and helpful at all times, they ensured our stay was a real pleasure from arrival to departure (and the breakfasts were delicious!) We hope to return to Quebec one day, and would love to stay again at this delightful hotel - we would recommend it unreservedly for every visitor to this beautiful city.

We stayed at Le Clos St-Louis April 10-13. This was our first trip to Quebec, but it won't be our last! I did extensive research before our trip, and decided the Hotel Le Clos met all of my criteria: romantic, old but modern, breakfast included (delicious choices), great location, fair price. We were not disappointed. Check out their information loaded website with photos of the great breakfasts and photos of each room. I loved this detail, so I could book the perfect room to suit us. The hotel felt like a European B&B, but had more privacy and more ammenities (highspeed wireless access included). And you can't beat the location! Only a short walk to all the Old City sites and best restaurants. If you want a beautiful hotel with historic charm, this is the best hotel to celebrate Quebec's 400th birthday.

Every year we are staying for a long week end in february... and every year it is the same think! The hotel is very nice, Ghislaine (the owner) and Paul-Emile are delightful, every piece of the decoration seams to have been choosen very carefully.

This is a small hotel where you have to stay if you spend few days in Quebec. It will make the romance of the city more beautiful!
