“Perfect B&B inn I can ever ask for, been to many B&B inns and this is the best!”

As a traveler, I've been to many B&B inns in montreal, ottawa, toronto, and out of all the many cities I've been to, this B&B inn is by far the cleanest and nicest inn i've come across. I never expect much from b&b inns as visitors come and go everyday and I would expect that the house would not be very well maintained due to that reason. However, when I arrived at Madam Rosie's inn, it was very well maintained and the whole house was very tidy and clean as a whole.

Like many of you have come to expect, the washroom can be a nightmare for many as people simply do not take any responsibility in keeping it clean. However I was extremely shocked when the washroom in this b&b inn was kept sparkling clean (looked even cleaner than my own house washroom).

The owner has kept a very strict guideline on maintaining the house properly and it has obviously paid off totally. My bedroom was very tidy and came with a more than big enough double bed size. The best part of the stay was breakfast!!!! Madam Rosie has added a very french perspective to her b&b breakfast and makes it very authentic and she even spends a lot of time on just the presentation of the meal itself (eg. cut the grapes in half, place the food around the plate with some artistic design). I have been extremely impressed with Madam Rosie's service and I will definitely come back to her b&b inn should I ever come back to Quebec City.

Here are some great reasons to stay at her place:

1) House is located about 10 minutes away from downtown Quebec

2) House is NOT located on the main road and is located on a sub road which means that there are no noisy cars driving down the road in the middle of the night (I had a perfect 3 night sleep as there were no noisy roadside disturbances, very peaceful neighbourhood)

3) House is impressively clean especially washroom and bed (I check the blankets to make sure its clean)

4) Personal room service (Madam Rosie has extremely utmost standards and makes ur bed on a DAILY basis, something you dont get very often at a b&b inn)

5) Authentic French breakfast

6) Cheap price

Your reputation for service has definitely spoken for itself, Madam Rosie. Keep up the great work!

I arrived to find out that Rosie had forgotten to put down my reservation for 2 nights! She said she was overbooked and had no more rooms but then said she had this apartment in the basement that I could probably stay. She took me down to check it out and it was terrible. I left my baggage upstairs and when sightseeing. When I retirmed she had changed her story twice, then said there was a cancellation but for the larger room. I told her I'd take it but that she better charge me for the smaller room like she had told me, which she agreed. I didn't believe she had a cancellation at all, but that she really didn't want me sleeping in the larger room when I was paying for the smaller room. Breakfast was a disaster! She said it would be served from 9-10 am. I got there 9:10 and had to wait until 9:30 am to even have a cup of coffee (I had to beg her for it) when the other guests already had theirs and were eating. I asked her why and she said because I was the last to arrive. She finally served me a tiny amount of cut up fruit and since I didn't want French toast, I asked if she had any whole grain bread and she gave me 2 slices, but unwillingly. At 10 am we were all given the sign to leave. After finally getting my breakfast, there really wasn't time to even enjoy it. Fortunately, I left and moved to another B&B for the next night. She's a tiny nervous lady who makes you nervous just being around her and ex-husband lives there too (another story for another time!).
