This is a standard Comfort Inn: you can expect all the comfort and amenities of the Comfort chain, no more no less. At Can$ 133, it is not good value unless you have a preferred rate.
It is beginning to show some wear, but it is close to the airport (4 mn. ride, prompt, half-hourly shuttle), is very quiet (remote take-off noises) and the service is pleasant and the staff helpful.
But it is located in an "airport vicinity desert zone": no shops, no restaurants. I landed there after 23:00 on a week day because of an enormousdelay in baggage retrieval, and since there are no restaurants in Comfort Inns, I tried the take-out places the staff had suggested: all but one closed at 11, and the remaining one did not answer their phone. Cost was Can$15 (return) for a taxi ride to the nearest 24 hr. Tim Horton's.

I visited the comfort Inn in November. The shuttle took me to another Comfort Inn. On the phone I have been told 5 minutes from the airport and when I got there it took about 30 minutes to get there. After I got to the hotel I noticed that I was at the wrong hotel with the same name. So after 1 hour of transportation I was at the right hotel.

The Personne at the front desk vas very pleasent and helpful with the directions and she made me feel comfortable after a long trip to get to the hotel. The hotel was very clean and nice.

Overall, it started long because of the confusion between the Choice airport hotels but the hotel made it up to me with help and service.

My family & I recently spent 1 night at the hotel as we were arriving late in the evening at Dorval-Montreal Airport and were heading to Quebec City early the next morning. The hotel accomodations were adequate but the staff (I only saw 1 person working at the hotel) was overworked & unhelpful. I booked 2 rooms on line and specified non-smoking rooms with 1 room on the first floor due to my mother having a heart condition. Upon arrival, I was told these were requests only and were not guaranteed. We should have had our travel agent guarantee these rooms. I told the clerk the rooms were booked on the internet & as far as I was concerned the requests were guaranteed.
Well, they eventually found 1 room on the 1st floor but it was a smoking room and reeked of cigarette smoke. If you have to stay near the airport you may want to spend a little bit more and stay at a more accomodating hotel.
