While travelling with extended family we stopped at this property to see about the swimming pool - which is small, outside and not yet open (late May 2007). I enquired where there may be another property with a swimming pool as we had a youngster who had his heart set on a pool. The two women ("managers" apparently - I won't list their names here) both said the only pool in Yarmouth was the YMCA and that no hotel had an indoor swimming pool - and repeated this statement when queried. I stopped at another hotel just a little way from them (the Rodd Grand Hotel) and discovered they had a very nice indoor pool which was open. This strikes me as very poor business ethics which I have not experienced before in the "hospitality" industry in my many travels. As I will be back to Yarmouth in the future visiting relatives I most certainly would not patronize this property

Cleanest room I've ever had in any accommodation including 5 star hotels. Hats off to these housekeepers. You can see yourself in the taps and could eat off of the floors.
The rooms are comfortable and nicely decorated. I would highly recommend staying here if you're ever in Yarmouth, I know I will next time I'm in town.

The room on the second floor was noisy because of the traffic and far too hot. No AC and not much in the way of apologies.. Would not stay again unless desperate....

The staff at the hotel was extremely rude to our group of 20 cyclists that stayed here. When asked to speak to the manager, the rudest of the lot turned out WAS the manager. The rooms were fine but considering the number of us and total dollars we were paying they couldn't have been more unfriendly. Tried to ask about a restaurant in town...they could only tell us about "their" restaurant. Of course their restaurant wasn't open for breakfast but they couldn't offer a single alternative. There are much nicer B&B's and we passed a Comfort Inn on the way into town...try your luck at one of those first.
