“Excellent hotel in all aspects (service, location, amenities)”

Fairmont Tremblant

5 of 5 stars
California
Jul 25, 2008

Was there in June 2008 from 19th to 25th.
As we might all expect from the pictures, the hotel is purposely not built with the big flashy marble walls inside a humongous skyscraper. We are not in Dubai...lol And yet it is enoughly classy, clean, nicely set to deserve an overall 5 star mention:
rooms are trendy, classy, very comfortable bed, beautiful modern bathrooms with amazing nice views from the windows.
I love the rustic part of the hotel (the spa area is all in rustic wood) but hoped that it would not reflect in the rooms with disgusting old fashion curtains or bed sheets,,,so when I saw how trendy, modern, fashion the entire room was (beautiful trendy curtains and bed sheets), I was really pleased!
Rooms are amazingly comfortable and service was amazingly attentive. Overall, as far as quality of service staff, amenities, comfort and quality of room goes, this is a 5 star Hotel. Just do not expect the pretentious feel and look.

“Excellent Summer Vacation Experience!”

Fairmont Tremblant

5 of 5 stars
Toronto, ON
Jul 17, 2008

After leaving another Tremblant area hotel early due to a disappointing stay, we booked in at the Fairmont. What an improvement!! Our family of five travels frequently, and this hotel ranks near the top of our all time list. The location is the best in Tremblant as it is in the village, but in a quieter corner so you don't get all of the night noise. The pools are fantastic, the service is world class...and the food!! We had a "two bedroom suite" and it was perfect for a family of five. The Village of Tremblant is one of the best summer vacation spots we have been to as a family, and I would highly recommend the Fairmont.

“Wonderful. Exceeded my expectations.”

Fairmont Tremblant

Jul 5, 2008

Stayed two nights at Fairmont Tremblant. Property is very well-
maintained and clean. From the moment we drove up to the hotel, everyone we encountered was courteous and professional. Check-in was very welcoming, even though our room wasn't quite ready (it was 3 pm, was told check-in was at 4 but website says 3, no matter...). Room was great. Very spacious for our family of four (two adults and two teens). Had a nice view of Tremblant, actually the front of the hotel) from our window. Everything worked beautifully. Housekeeping was very efficient (we were actually asked what time was better each day for housekeeping to come). Evening turndown thorough. Our housekeeper even left us a nice, hand-written personal note thanking us for leaving a tip. Very nice.

Breakfast buffet was good variety and quality, priced at 23 per.
Did the Friday night dinner buffet, which is a surf and turf buffet at 49 per. Excellent. I highly recommend it.

Walking distance to pedestrian village and shops and restaurants.
Concierge very resposive.

We booked a "deluxe double double" with "no specific view." Wonderful room for the four of us. If you want space, you won't be disappointed with this.

Fairmonts usually are very nice, and this one is no exception. This was our first time at Tremblant, and won't be our last. And we're sure the Fairmont will be our destination of choice.

“Rustic”

Fairmont Tremblant

Fairmont Mt. Tremblant was in more ways a ski lodge-which in essence is what it really is-than a typical Fairmont property.Service was attentive, breakfast in the restaurant was very good and it is centrally located. We visited in the summer, and it seemed a bit rustic, but if I were to ski Tremblant, I would definitely stay here.

“Best Hotel Slopeside”

Fairmont Tremblant

5 of 5 stars
Ottawa, Ontario
May 26, 2008

Mont Tremblant is a favourite destination of mine...winter or summer. I love to ski and the Fairmont Tremblant is as close to the "Flying Mile" quad chair as you can get. The gondola is also about a 2 minute walk away. The hotel is located at the base of the mountain and the top of the pedestrian village. What I like most about this hotel is that you can park your car upon arrival and leave it parked until you leave. The hill is steps away and so is everything else from great restaurants, rec facilities and shopping. I have only ever stayed on the hotels "Gold Floor" so I can only speak for the service there and not the rest of the hotel.
The King Gold room was small and compact but very nicely appointed and impeccably clean. The bed was exceedingly comfortable and the shower was more than adequate. Upon stepping off the elevator a staff member meets you, sits you down and gets you all settled in very quickly. There is a private Gold floor lounge with a relaxing atmosphere and lots of free food and beverages. No need to pay for breakfast on the Gold floor, its all included. Any wish you have or information you may need is immediately provided by the attentive staff. They will make your restaurant reservations and bring your coffee and lift tickets to your door in the morning. No waiting in line! I was very pleased with the personal service I recieved on the Gold floor. The restaurant located in the hotel was very good. The food was excellent and the service was exceptional. I do, however, have to recommend Coco Pazo in the Village as an alternative if you can't get reservations in the hotels dining room. It was some of the best Italian cuisine ever! Try the creme brule! I recommend bringing your own ski equipment with you if possible. Rentals are expensive and the 360 rental shop within the hotel has terrible service. If you must rent take the short walk to Chalet des Voyesgeur located at the top of the Cabriolet. They have an abundance of staff and equipment. The process of renting is much faster and the quality of the skis and boots is much better. Avoid 360 at all costs....it may seem more convinient to just go downstairs but its NOT! The hotel also has an amazing outdoor pool and hot tub open year round. We were very happy with it but be aware that its not open in the morning....if you like to soak outside before skiing, you're outta luck. I also have to mention how dissapointed I was with the hotel spa. It is an Amerispa and I had high expectations. I was very dissapointed, the treatment rooms were not very nice and most of the staff barely spoke english and were unprofessional. It was over priced and not worh the money, if you must use a spa go somewhere else...like the Westin! Overall the hotel was great and I would stay there again if I was only in Tremblant for a night or two. If you're staying for a week or more a condo may suit you better.
