Just got back from Mont Tremblant a week ago. Great ski slopes with record breaking snow falls. The service at the slope and the village was top notch. Will go back again for sure.
Now to the hotel. It is located about five mins from the village. We rented a car so it was not a problem getting to the slopes. I thought the service of the front desk and all personnel involved was just average, nothing stellar. Don't get me wrong. They are all pleasant; but there was not an extra effort to make you feel welcomed or pampered. What set this property apart was the room. It was stellar and in mint condition. Maybe because it was new. The regular suite we stayed in was large with separate living and bed room. Flat screen TV throughout. Heated bathroom floors. Great kitchen area with everything you need to stay in your room and cook your own dinner without venturing out at night. The room was just spotless.
One gripe with the service. As I mentioned before, the weekend we stayed had record breaking snow fall. When we were ready to leave the next morning, the parking lot was a mess with snow not plowed and people not able to get out. The hotel only had one person with a small snow blower helping with the situation. We were stuck in the lot for about 45 mins. Not good considering it is winter and it does snow a lot. I would expect they are better prepared for basic issues such as this.
Again, great hotel really because of its rooms, not its service
