Just got back from Mont Tremblant a week ago. Great ski slopes with record breaking snow falls. The service at the slope and the village was top notch. Will go back again for sure.
Now to the hotel. It is located about five mins from the village. We rented a car so it was not a problem getting to the slopes. I thought the service of the front desk and all personnel involved was just average, nothing stellar. Don't get me wrong. They are all pleasant; but there was not an extra effort to make you feel welcomed or pampered. What set this property apart was the room. It was stellar and in mint condition. Maybe because it was new. The regular suite we stayed in was large with separate living and bed room. Flat screen TV throughout. Heated bathroom floors. Great kitchen area with everything you need to stay in your room and cook your own dinner without venturing out at night. The room was just spotless.
One gripe with the service. As I mentioned before, the weekend we stayed had record breaking snow fall. When we were ready to leave the next morning, the parking lot was a mess with snow not plowed and people not able to get out. The hotel only had one person with a small snow blower helping with the situation. We were stuck in the lot for about 45 mins. Not good considering it is winter and it does snow a lot. I would expect they are better prepared for basic issues such as this.

Again, great hotel really because of its rooms, not its service

Our family of 4 stayed at Chateau Beauvallon for 4 nights. We had a 2 bedroom unit that had a kitchenette and was perfect for us. All the rooms face the inner courtyard -- so no one has to look at the road or parking lot from their room! Very well thought out! Our room could sleep 8 but it would be incredibly cramped for 8. I would suggest you buying your groceries at one of the grocery stores along highway 117 (just before your exit). The IGA extra is fantastic and will have everything you need. It is just 10 minutes away if you do decide you need to go back to get more food! I don't suggest buying your food in Tremblant as it is quite overpriced in the village! We ate one meal at the hotel in their restaurant and the food was superb -- but it is not a cheap meal!
They had regular shuttles to the base of Tremblant for us to go skiing. It literally was a 4 minute drive. If the 15 passenger van was full -- they would immediately send one of their other 7 passenger vans.

The staff was terrific and so friendly! Martin and Claude made our stay quite enjoyable! The pool is not very big and there is no deep end. The outdoor hot tub was very nice with a heated sidewalk!

This hotel is fantastic to stay at if you don't want the rowdiness and commercialism of Tremblant village. There is no way that our family would ever stay in the village because it is quite loud there. Chateau Beauvallon was a beautiful, quiet retreat for us. We will definitely return there!

You name it, they did it right:

* We reserved through Expedia, and Beauvallon got everything just right.
* The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Note: this was no mere hotel room. It was more like a studio apartment. Excellent.
* The hotel itself provides a small indoor pool, an exercise room, a play room, a spacious den with a constantly maintained fireplace and an inviting outdoor sauna.
* The wait staff was courteous, effective, and efficient.
* The hotel is conveniently located about 3-4 minutes of the mountain.
* The upshot is that we'll be returning to Chateau Beauvallon next year and recommending it highly to our friends and family.

Imagine visiting a postcard straight from a holiday set with staff that all seem to love their jobs! We had a family ski vacation and stayed at the Chateau Beauvallon and I can't say enough good things.

The Chateau is very picturesque and the rooms are beautifully appointed. The gas fireplace added the right touch of cosiness and the beds were super comfortable. Our room overlooked the garden and it looked like a winter wonderland with trees that were lit up and a hot tub that was warm and very inviting.

We had the continental breakfast each morning and it was what I came to expect from the hotel. Coffee was strong and hot, croissants were fresh and flakey, fruit was fresh and plentiful... always a great start to the day.

We ate in the restaurant on our last evening there if I could find one flaw it was they didn't have enough wait staff to serve the packed house. The food was excellent but took a while to get served. All in all, it certainly wasn't enough of a complaint to bring the rating down at all.

I'll definitely be back there!
