Brighton is full of bed and breakfasts, but the 4 Seasons really stands out. I went in July with my daughter who is 10. Due to problems in the past the owners, Blanche and Michael, do not accept children under 10 although they have a little baby of their own. The outside of the hotel doesn't look great but, inside, the rooms are clean, very light and bright, modern and large. None of the plumbing problems you often get in England! The breakfast was delicious although I couldn't quite fit in the full breakfast that others had. It is walking distance to the beach, the pier, the Lanes, the Pavillion and yet not to central to be noisy although we had a few drunkards making noise around 2am. But most of all, you will love the owners who are friendly, helpful, chatty (without being too much). I will definitely go back!
