My partner and I stayed here for three nights to do some Geocaching in the area.

The personal service we received whilst staying here from Jane and Mark was brilliant and we are very great full for their generosity and assistance.

The location for us was excellent. We were given lists of restaurants and walks which Jane and Mark had put together, these were really helpful.

Breakfast was lovely and set us up for each day, so much so we didn't need lunch.

Our room (room 4) was lovely, the bed was very big and comfortable, it was decorated very nicely and had an en-suite bathroom.

We stayed at Thornbank during the school holidays, we stopped there for a couple fo nights.
The accomodation was spotless clean and the hosts were really helpful and nice.
The breakfasts were fantastic....
We shared the week between 4 different B&B and overall Thornbank was really good...

We have just returned from a weekend in the Lake District at Windermere and Had a lovely time.
The accommodation was great.
We had stayed once before but about 4years ago and it hasn't changed, maybe a little older but absolutely spotless clean.
The hosts Mark and Jane are great aswell, nothing too much trouble and very helpful, a very nice couple.
The B&B itself is in Windermere but it central for both Windermere and Bowness.
All in all a great stay and by the way great breakfasts, loads and yummy.
