I picked this hotel because of its good value accommodation. It is situated about a 10 minute walk from Reading West Railway Station, and about 25 minutes walk from Reading Station. Buses 25 and 26 run frequently from the main station, and stop very close to the hotel in Bath Road.

The hotel has a small reception area, restaurant, and bar, the place appears to have been fully refurbished quite recently, and is spotlessly clean. The staff were friendly, and the check in was fast and efficient. I had booked a single room for one night, and the room was perfectly adequate for my purposes, providing a single bed, wardrobe, dressing table and chair, television, telephone, television, hair dryer, shower and toilet. The usual tea and coffee making services were also provided. The room was double glazed, and although I had the window open, I did not notice any traffic noise from Bath Road,

The breakfast service was good, the usual help yourself to tea/coffee, cereals, yoghurt and fruit juice, with the main part of the breakfast cooked to order.

Several of my friends stayed at this hotel on the same night as myself and we were all very happy with this hotel.
