Upon investigation of these reviews and hearing about bed bugs and the owner not honoring the breakfast, and illnesses upon eating there, we decided to cancel our reservation. The cancellation policy clearing states no charge if done within 48 hours. We gave them 6 week notice and they were so rude on the phone and refused to acknowledge their own policy and decided to charge us the 20 pound fee.

As a travel writer I highly advise to stay anywhere else. There are so many other places to stay and avoid this NIGHTMARE on Bloomfield Road.

Stayed at the Wentworth for my birthday, staff were helpful, couldn't do enough to help us. The room was lovely and well decorated. The view from the pool was brilliant. After reading the comments on trip advisor, I wasnt sure if my 50th birthday was going to be fun. But the hotel was nothing as the comments showed.
I would highly recommend this B&B. And will come back in the summer to make full use of the summing pool with a beautiful view.

I made the unfortunate mistake of booking 2 nights at this hotel for my boyfriend and i, prior to reading these reviews on tripadvisor. concerned, i reassured myself it couldnt possibly be as bad as was made out. how wrong i was. it is exactly as others have said. i cannot believe the complaints made in 2006 are the exact same complaints i still have going there in 2008!

This place should certainly be shut down, its not fit for anyone. at £95 a night i was really hoping for somewhere quite nice. instead, the room was pokey, again no [---] tv working and the breakfast was awful, with the cold cheap sausages numerous other reviews have mentioned. i was very ill the 2nd day we were in Bath and had the hotel been aceptable i could possibly have sat the stay out to get our moneys worth, but to be honest i just could not wait to get the hell outa there.

Awful, makes fawlty towers look like the ritz. i just cannot understand how the owners have taken NONE of this critisism on board. if you are reading this an have already booked, trust me, be the clever one and cancel it now. bath is a fabulous city, and i can honestly say unfortunately our stay was ruined by this place.

on arrival i thought i was at take away currie house the lingring smell from the kitchen was not the best recomamdation for a resturant on nice four poster bed looked really comfy untill we smelt the pillows oft he previous night guest after shave and woke up during the night to find bed bugs where havng a party in our bed When speaking to the owner regarding this problem he made out we brought them with us so take your own bug spray just in case p.s dont worry about the breakfast macdonalds is safer
