“Loved it!”

Just returned from a trip that took me all over Great Britain and Ireland - the Athole was an amazing place to stay. First, Bath is beautiful - it was way more spectacular than I thought it would be. The Athole was a great place to stay - free wifi, little game room, garden and only a ten minute walk to the center of town. The walk to town was great because on the way you could look down into the valley and get some great pictures. Wolfgang made our stay so comfortable, we had driven from London that day and he made us feel right at home. The breakfast was also fabulous. If you're hesitant about staying in B and B's like I was, you really need to give it a try!

“Little Gem in Bath”

I must say it was an absolute pleasure to stay at the Athole Guest House. We were a party of four girls who stayed for the weekend to incorporate a spa visit. Now I've stayed in a few guest houses over the years and Athole surpasses anything previous. The rooms are spacious, clean and the en-suites are lovely. The breakfast is excellent and really sets you up for the day. The staff are extremely friendly and want to make your stay as comfortable as possible. It is well worth a visit, I promise you, you wont be disspointed and you will want to stay again... I know we will be.

“Best Breakfast in England”

I just returned from a month in England (June 08) and Athole Guest House was everything and more.
Wolfgang is an incredible host! When I arrived it was raining so he drove me and another couple to town for dinner. He drives to and picks up everyone using the train system by request. He and his wife's breakfast is to die for; try the pancakes, they really are the best I've ever had. They are two of friendliest, warmest hosts in England. Rooms are large and attractive. A true 5 star B&B.

“LIke visiting the family”

Wolfgang met us at the train station platform in the afternoon and from the beginning was very determined that we should have a quality stay. He even insisted on carrying our bags up the stairs in the wonderful old guest house. The next afternoon after our tours we relaxed in the garden with the beautiful flowers and birds while we ate our "take away"dinner.
I recommend this B&B to everyone.

“Athole House is lovely!”

The Athole Guest House is a wonderful place to stay. Lovely, spacious room, clean, quiet neighborhood, very friendly host and the best pancakes for breakfast. Would definitely recommend.
