We have just returned from a 2 night stay on the the third floor of this amazing Hotel. It is like stepping into Victoriana but with 21st century luxury. We were ushered into the drawing room by a member of the family and shown everything we might need. As we stepped into our 3rd floor room, the 'wow's were only followed by more 'Wows'.
The bed is so high you need a set of mahogany steps to get in it! There is thankfully no full English breakfast (available in sister Hotel if you must!) Just an old fashioned mahogany tray brought to your room with the freshly made 'continental for breakfast in bed! There was ,of course, fresh fruit and yogurts - plenty! Daily newspaper is free and no rush, even on the last day we didn't need to be out till 11am.
I booked this break on their website very easily and paid the bill, which arrived on the breakfast tray by phoning downstairs only. This was one of the best treats we have had in a long time - well worth giving it a go.
