Really easy to find. From the M1/M50 junction, go 'one roundabout East' on the N32, and you're there. Can't miss it! Parking on-site when you get there, but make sure you get your ticket changed to a pass by the front desk so you get the guest rate.
This is a proper modern, clean, efficient hotel. Definitely not the usual standard that you would see in other places in Dublin when you can't afford to pay the earth. After staying here, I can't see me staying anywhere else in Dublin unless I absolutely need to be in the city centre, or unless this place jacks its rates up to silly levels.
I stayed here for three days for family obligations, but I needed to get a bit of work done whilst I was here. Wireless, yes! Free wireless, yes! How about proper 10/100 Ethernet access to every room - YES! ..and its free! This is the first hotel that I've seen do this, but it's got to become common as its the only sensible way to go.
One thing thats a bit odd is that the beds don't look to be 'made' when you go in the room. They are [well actually, they aren't] but its down to a 'house style' thing. Just don't think that they've given you a mothballed room - this is actually the way that it is meant to be.
A disappointing feature is that when you go into your room you have to put your access card into a slot to turn the lights on. The idea, I guess, is that when you leave the room you have to take the card with you so that you are obliged to turn the lights off when you''re not there. Cool, so far, but this also turns the power sockets off, so you can't go down to nosh whilst charging your mobile phone. Grrrr!
Talking of nosh, yes, its fine. For brekkie, a good choice of cereals, and the Full Irish is of acceptable quality. Self service, and you can have as much as you can get on your plate. One tip - if you get the Full Irish, you are also entitled to cereal, so one brekkie can serve two. the staff know this, and on one occasion suggested it to me, so its not cheating.
Didn't try evening meal in the restaurant, so can't comment. I did try evening meals (Fish, Chips, and on another occasion, Pasta) in the lounge, and they are very acceptable.
Overall, I do have a few niggles, but it is absolutely swamped by the decent quality of the hotel. I see that this hotel has been getting other good reviews. Speaking as someone who is working at their laptop in the lounge of this hotel as I write this, I have to say that the hotel deserves it.
One final note. I feel that the attitude of the staff is 'quietly professional' rather than 'enthusiastic'. This suits me well, but you can make your own call.
