My three sons and I stayed at the Killeen House Hotel at the end of April 2008. Again, (my second stay), we were cheerfully and warmly greeted by the owners and their staff. Our rooms were great. Their restaurant is excellent and their Pub is devine.

Geraldine and Michael helped us with our Tee Time bookings and gave us accurate directions to the courses.

What we all enjoyed most was the warmth and friendliness of all involved. I would strongly recommend a stay at the Killeen House Hotel if you are journeying to the Killarney area of ireland.

I want to thank Michael and Geraldine for their hospitality and our flawless stay at Killeen House in July. It was a truly enchanting 3 nights in Killarney and a highlight of our entire trip. Their warmth and caring congeniality were tremendously appreciated. The rooms were delightful!!! They even upgraded us at no additional charge when a Championship room became available. The food was scrumptious and exquisite. It was such a pleasure to experience their sincere friendliness and that of their staff. Their good will and professionalism are wonderful.

Michael was very helpful in helping me plan our 3 week vacation in Ireland before we arrived. His suggestions on areas to see, historic sights, even car insurance were terrific!

Again, I cannot rave enough about Geraldine and Michael and their wonderful small hotel. We drove up, walked in, and without us saying a word, they said hello and addressed us by name! Great accomodations, gourmet food, comfortable, every service and convenience.

I recently sent off a little note to Michael and Geraldine, owners of and hosts at The Killeen House in County Kerry, Ireland, and told them that now when I ponder the eternal question, What will Heaven be like?" I imagine something that looks exactly like The Killeen House--inside and out--to be the mansion to which my husband and I would hopefully be assigned by Saint Peter. Everything about our stay at The Killeen House was outstanding. The hotel is charming and darling inside and out; our bedroom was sparkling clean and comfortably gorgeous. The food was excellent, served in a lovely dining room. There is also the coziest bar and a lovely parlor with a computer available, with free access for guests. The staff members were delightfully friendly and most helpful. The grounds of The Killeen House and the area in walking distance to Killeen House provide one grand view of the countryside after another--It was our first stop of a 13-day visit to Ireland, and it was our favorite place to stay of all. Michael and Geraldine, made us all (there were six of us in all) feel most welcome on our very first day in Ireland and throughout our stay with them; when we left, we felt as though we were leaving good family, and nothing would be better than to look forward to returning to beautiful Killeen House again in the future.

Geraldine and Michael are wonderful hosts. The Killeen House was a perfect resting spot for the 3 days we spent in Killarney. The staff was friendly and helpful, the food was marvelous. We would highly recommend to any traveler, and we would definately return to the Killeen House ourselves.
