“Not 3 star standard”

We stayed in this hotel on the special offer rate at the weekend. The rate we got was good but did not include breakfast. It is a 3 star hotel but i can safely say it did not seem to be 3 star standard. Firstly, when we arrived the receptionist was quite abrupt and did'nt make us feel welcome in any way. Our room was ok and of average standard. It was nothing to write home about. The hotel is a bit outside the town but you would'nt mind that if you loved staying there. I dont think i would ever stay there again. The bar in the hotel was also very old and musky. To me it did not feel 3 star standard at all. I think the picture of the reception area may make it look better than it is.

I have just returned from a weekday break in the Killarney Court Hotel & was very satisfied with the service I received. Firstly, we got a great deal for 2 nights B&B with an evening meal for only €99 per person-which I thought was great.
The staff were friendly and we got to deal with the managers directly which was nice.
The breakfast supplied was more than adequate with the option of cereals, juices, pastries, fruit & an Irish fry. The dinner included was also lovely & we were offered an additional menu if we wanted for an extra fee.
Overall, the staff were very friendly & helpful & the service we got for the price we paid was brilliant!!

This hotel was part of our Cosmos Tour stay. Easily the nicest hotel of the bunch. Rooms were clean and well cared for. Everything worked well. The staff were pleasant to deal with. The pub even had Harp on tap (one of the few in Ireland we found). We truly enjoyed our stay at the Killarney Court Hotel.

stayed here for a stag week end in june,the hotel was in a great location to the town and the accomadation was supurb. the food was great and well priced. i would really like to visit killarney again and use this hotel again. from j in carlow
