The best hotel I have seen for years! Reasonable prices, great staff, nice atmosphere, that was exactly what we were looking for. Near to the centre. It has been recently renovated , probably that was why we were so delighted. Only one disadvantage - too much food , I probably put on weight about 2 kilos during this one week ;-)

I had a real pleasant stay in Scotts, the service was excellent, the rooms were classy arranged and really comfortable and they had a fantastic variety of delicious food. Combined with a lovely surrounding of Killarney. I will stay there by next chance again!

I was enchanted with Scotts Hotel. Lately renewed and refurbished, perfectly located in town with spacious Courtyard Restaurant & fabulous food just spoiled our weekend.
What differs it from other hotels is lively beer garden open throughout the summer which attracts plenty of young people.
What's more I was delighted by friendly and helpful staff. All in all I would not find any better place to stay in Killarney ..

Stayed one night. Upon arrival paid cash in advance, had a meal that evening in the restaurant, paid for the meal in cash again.
Checked out the following morning, gave keys back to receptionist. Was walking down the street when, hotel staff were shouting asking us to return. When we went back to them they asked us to return to the hotel so that they could confirm that we had paid for the evening meal. Told them we had but they insisted we come inside for them to double check. As you can imagine this was a very embarrising situation as there was a lot of people around including people we actually knew.
So we went back in, they checked and confirmed that yes we had paid.
Obviously, they were all apologetic and gave various reasons for the mix up, apparently it was the computers fault!!!
However if this was a more professionally run hotel this would never have happened
sloppy service by poor staff>
I Wouldn"t recommend
