The Glen was a great find! We booked online, not knowing much at all about it, and we were pleasantly surprised to find impressive budget accommodations. At the time of our stay, we were able to get a private double room with a private bathroom at 25 euro per person. The Glen is no luxury accommodation, so it might not be for everyone, but it fit all our criteria: very clean, spacious, comfortable bed, quiet (even though it's above a bar), amazing water pressure, secure, good location (in the city centre, within walking distance of many good restaurants and pubs). It also has free WiFi and a TV in the room. Only continental breakfast is included, and it's self-catering (including a fully equipped self-catering kitchen)--so you have to wash your own dishes and watch out that the food is in good shape (we encountered some moldy bread, but other bread that was fine). The hallways are a bit dark and the bar downstairs is nothing to write home about (at least the weeknight we were there), but for the price, we have no complaints and highly doubt we could have found better.
