“absolutely wonderful!!!!!”

Three Ways House Hotel

Apr 7, 2008

o my god, this hotel is amazing! we stayed for a night at the pudding club, lovey food, great puddings, wonderful atmosphere. the staff were great and were really really nice and accommodating. room was awesome - we stayed in the spotted dick themed room; huge, big, soft bed, decorated with spotty dogs! its in a really nice area, the village of mickleton is lovely. be prepared to take in a lot of food though as the pudding club requires a big tummy! its delicious! overall, its a great hotel, we'll definately be returning for the summer pudding club soon. i would recommend it to anyone! “what to expect”

Three Ways House Hotel

Mar 28, 2008

I stayed with about 20 others all our rooms were clean and good standard, most had new bathrooms, very nice. Not the biggest rooms but I was only there 2 nights and very comfortable. Good hotel breakfast, good lunch, very good dinner, and very good staff. Good bar - modern and comfortable , couple of pubs within 2 minutes walk, nice small village, what do people expect ?

What a let down Just had a 130 mile round trip for what we thought would be a wonderful experience.. Sunday lunch then The Pudding Club heaven !! But what a let down ,only 3 puddings with plenty of custard or cheese platter to choose from. If you want lots of puddings do not go on a Sunday lunchtime. Little Haywood Staffordshire

“Cosy Comforts in the Cotswolds”

Three Ways House Hotel

Mar 7, 2008

We have stayed at The Three Ways before and the fact that we fully intend to stay there again probably sums up our feelings on this place. It is our favourite place to stay when visiting the northern Cotswolds, and standards - in our opinion - have not dropped since our last visit (Dec 2004). The hotel has a great ambience, including the lounge which we found cosy and inviting with its roaring log fire (not, I would suggest, "totally characterless" as someone has penned recently), and the staff really do give the impression that they are pleased you are there, rather than being an interruption to their working day.

We were staying in a Superior Room (no 35) overlooking the garden and this was more than adequate, with a couple of comfy chairs, bath robes, flat-screen TV and a CD player.

Food was above average and the puddings excellent, breakfast was enhanced by having proper thick-cut marmalade rather than the plastic tubs found in many places nowadays - all in all, a great stay, a lovely hotel and all enhanced by the sunny weather and the excellent walking country within the immediate vicinity.

“Fantastic food!”

Three Ways House Hotel

Feb 3, 2008

I have just returned home after a few days in the Cotswolds, my partner & I chose to stay at Three Ways House on the recommendation of a friend & we are glad we took their advice. The staff were all very helpful and it seemed like nothing was too much trouble for them. We ate in the restaurant on the first evening & had a delicious rack of cotswold lamb with lots of perfectly cooked vegetables & potatoes, all included in the price, (it really annoys me when you have to pay extra for the vegetables.) My partner had braised blade of beef which he said was fantastic, especially the gravy! I had creme brulee - my favourite, & I can say it was the best I have ever had! My partner is a traditional pudding man & had sticky toffee & date pudding & said it was superb too.

We stayed in a room overlooking the garden, the room had everything we needed including a really good bed & was decorated really nicely, the bathroom was good too & it was all very clean. Whilst we were there the weather was very cold, they have a log fire in the lounge where we sat & had a few glasses of wine.

We are planning to go back again in the summer with the friends who recommended it in the first place!
