We have traveled throughout Europe over the past 25 years and this hotel ranks at or very near the top of our list for comfort, cleanliness and convenience. The rooms ( We had a deluxe room on the second floor with a view of the chateau and the river) are quite spacious by European standard and the shower exquisite. The rooms were very clean quite comfortable. The hotel is within 5 minutes walking distance from the center of Amboise and within one hour of the most visited chateaus. The front desk staff were helpful in booking restaurant and soliciting our welfare. Overall, it was almost like being in our own home. We will return.

This was everything we had hoped it would be. Beautifull, friendly hotel with a great staff, they were extremely helpfull in finding restaurants (all within a short walk from the Hotel). The location in Amboise was great for exploring the Chateauxs as well as wine tasting in Vouvray and Chinon.

We stayed in a Deluxe Superior in the main building which looked exactly as the picture on the Web site with a great view of the Loire as well as Chateau Amboise.

The breakfast was great although a bit pricey. Wonderfull stay!

This hotel is superb. We did have a superior deluxe room which overlooks the chateau and the Loire. The beautiful furnishings and the room comfort were superb. The friendliness and attention to all details, from the staff was exemplary. The hotel is very near to the charming small town with a large choice of restaurants- conveniently situated for wine trips and all the chateaux in this beautiful area.

We came back for a trip to Europe and this hotel was one of our best experience.
First the location is great. you are close from everything. It is a central location to visit the beautiful Castles of the Loire Valley. You are only 5 minutes from the downtown. Really the perfect Location.

The hotel is really charming with spacious room and nice lobby hall were you can just read, or have a glass of wine . The decoration with the beautiful antique furniture is as charming as some beautuful "Relais et Chateaux" where we stayed as well.

The quality of the service is Five star.
The front desk clerk was better that some concierge we dealed with in Paris and his recommandation were always exiding our expectation.

I will definitly recommand this hotel. It is a little bit more expensive than what we are usually spending but it is not expensive enough for the quality of what you are getting! A great value.
