ServiceMy husband and I stayed at the Trilussa Palace Hotel this past April 2006. The hotel was situated in a wonderful area of Rome. The Staff at the hotel was quite pleasant in particular Andrea at Reception, a very helpful and caring person. Our room was wonderful and even had a balcony. We look forward to returning to Rome and staying at this fabulous hotel in the future. I definitely recommend it.

ServiceA warm welcome from the staff who were very helpful during our stay. The hotel was very clean although our room was a bit small. TV, safe, excellent shower and cupboard space but no drawers for clothes! Food very good although the restaurant was not open for dinner during the week of our stay. A small but splendid health centre is in the hotel - sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, gym. Good location as it was in the Trastevere district where there are numerous excellent restaurants and transport facilities (tram, bus) nearby. I would recommend the hotel as a base for seeing Rome.
As part of my duties in planning for the after=cruise portion of our Mediterranean Voyage, I was challenged to find a decent hotel, but not too pricy. This is not an easy task, especially when you are relying on the information gathered off of the internet.
I must have looked at over 100 sites, reading the reviews, assessing their location in the city, and of course, the nightly rates.
I was very surprised when I read the reviews for the Trilussa Palace. Most everyone that took the time to render a rating, gave it high marks for all the above categories I was usiing to make my decision.
I contacted the hotel management and corresponded with Mr. Eduardo Caroni, who was most responsive and helpful in so many ways. He arranged for our transport from our ship to the hotel and then from the hotel to the airport. He was most helpful in suggesting area restaurants and helped in our plans of touring the famous sites in Rome. Mr. Caroni and all the staff at the hotel were very friendly and accomodating.
Their quaint restuarant was excellent for starting the day off on a positive note.
The rooms were very clean and thank goodness, air conditioned. The bathrooms are a bit small in comparison to the States, but they were sparklingly clean and had the most beautifu marble on the floors and walls. A Great Bargain and a Real Treat for that home away from home!!

Myself and my boyfriend came back from Rome just yesterday morning and we would definitely go back without a doubt. The Trilussa Palace hotel was just what we needed. It was extremely peaceful and quiet - away from the main hustle and bustle of the city but within easy reach of the main sights via tram/bus or foot (no. 8 tram gets you to near to the pantheon, no. 3 bus goes to the colosseum, H to the Termini station and 62 or 64 to the Vatican). The room was clean and fairly modern in design and although it was not spacious, it has all you need for a city break. The bathroom was all marble
with a very luxiourious shower and the staff were very helpful. As per other reviews we did think that the extra charges were a bit excessive, in particular the spa - 40 Euros each for 1 hr - therefore we did not use these services. In brief, we would definitely recommend this hotel.
