Casa Verardo was the perfect hotel for our recent visit to Venice. We arrived at San Zaccaria vaporreto stop and easily found this gem on a little canal that was about a 7 minute walk from St. Mark's Square. The front desk spoke just enough english to be helpful, kind and patient. They booked tours for us, helped us find money machines, and allowed us to store our luggage on check-out day long after check-out time. The rooms were clean. The showers had wonderful water pressure and the heated towel rack made towels warm and cozy. They do have internet access but you have to pay for it. The only recommendation I would make is to make the internet a free amenity. Casa Verardo was a nice home away from home while traveling.

Hotel Casa Verardo is a great hotel! The staff was very friendly and courteous. This hotel is very easy to find and in a super location. We had a nice size triple room and a spacious bathroom (a big plus!). The beds were comfortable. I received an on time wake up call every morning. The hotel also has internet service for a very small fee. A light breakfast was included with our room. Overall, we were very happy with our stay at Hotel Casa Verardo.

We've just came back from our Easter-Weekend in Venice. We've stayed at the Hotel Casa Verardo, which is a real secret place. Neat, tidy, cozy hotel which outreaches its 3* rating! The location is unbeatable: 3min from piazza st marco. Rather small rooms, which is normal for Venice, but absolutely comfortable bed/mattress. Of course not to forget the open-hearted and helpfull hotel-staff, specially mentioned Mr. Pier who gave us some worthwile restaurant advices!

We stayed at Casa Verardo in March, right before Easter holiday. Just loved it. Charming, perfect location and realy great value for money compared to what you get in Venice. Read reviews before booking and when we received the room right behind the reception - I was a bit worried (ref. bad review of this room here). But it was great. Spacious (compared to trad. italian rooms), quiet (which was our main consern) and nice in all ways. Service was great - and breakfast was lovely (also compared to Italian standard). A lovely back yard which would have been great if the temperature was a bit warmer. I will definatley be back - and recomend this hotel to all my friends.
