Very easy access from either the train station at Santa Lucia (on island of Venice) or Marco Polo airport via ACTV bus to Pizzale Roma. Located right on Grand Canal directly across from the Ferrovia (main train station). A most pleasant surprise with "old Europe" grace and ambience at competitive prices. Hotel manager, Allessandro, and front desk manager Michale are personable, knowledgeable and helpful. Superior-level rooms are newly redone, beautifully furnished with excellent bathrooms and exceedingly quiet if a bit small by US standards. Deluxe rooms are similarly refurbished, spacious, quiet but with stunning views of the Grand Canal (ours had three large windows opening directly onto the Grand Canal from a third story). Staff recommendations for dining were "insider' tips and were also excellent. If your room includes breakfast (optional) it is of a very adequate European style. The obsessive attention to detail at this hotel shows and makes your stay one you will not forget.

My husband's and my first visit to Venice, was preceded by warm greetings, as well as genuine friendliness, at this wonderful cozy hotel. For an extra fee and the fact that we would be staying for eight nights, we agreed to be upgraded to a comfortable roomy suite with a good-sized bathroom. Therefore, we echo other travelers' accolades regarding cleanliness and gracious service, along with the ample breakfast buffet that included fresh coffee, milk, and juice. Great location, not too close and not too far from bustling main sights, with nearby transportation. Walking through nearby backstreets provided glimpses of everyday Venetian life.

Alessandro, Franchesca, Michaele, Linda, and the rest of the dedicated staff expressed so much patience, helpfulness, and tireless enthusiasm with us, as well as with the other guests. One of the glowing highlights in the celebration of our wedding anniversary.

We plan to return to Venice, in a year or two, and look forward to staying here again.

My husband brought me to Venice for my birthday this year, a city I've always wanted to visit. He was looking for a 4 or 5 star hotel but because of the fabulous reviews on TripAdvisor he chose the Antiche Figure.

We had a wonderful stay here. The staff are fantastic! Thank you, Francesca, for all your help and advice and also for booking a beautiful trattoria for my birthday dinner. It was just perfect. The staff at the trattoria even sang "Happy Birthday" to me and brought out my pudding complete with birthday candle. I knew that my husband would never have thought of doing this and the waiter told me that Francesca had let him know at the time of booking that it was a special birthday treat. We had a wonderful evening in the most beautiful and romantic of cities.

This is a gorgeous hotel. I loved the Murano glass chandeliers in the bedroom (and in the bathroom!!). We upgraded to a room overlooking the Grand Canal and can't recommend it highly enough. The breakfasts, location and, of course the genuinely friendly and helpful staff made the trip so memorable, I'd go back in a heartbeat.

Don't waste any time - book it, go and ENJOY!!

My husband and I stayed at this hotel end of March/beginning of April this year for 5 days for the occasion of our 20th anniversary. We upgraded to a junior suite on arrival which was magnificent with the windows facing onto the Grand Canal. The suite was immaculate and each day when we returned to the hotel there was a Baci chocolate laid out on a serviette on each pillow. The en suite bathroom was large and also extremely clean. All the staff were lovely, especially at Reception and if you required any advice on travelling about Venice, where to eat etc. they were extremely helpful. Whenever we return to Venice we would definitely stay here again and would have no hesitation in recommendng it to anyone. The hotel is also very well located across from the railway station and it was very easy to get around from this point.
