This hotel is nothing special. It's in a decent location but our room was a basic box with no great amenities. We asked for a quiet room and were put over a parking lot (noisy deliveries at 7AM) near an elevator. No air conditioning, either. No bellman -- the poor girl at reception had to help us with our bags. The restaurant is good and the breakfast buffet is superior. Service is fine. But I fail to see why people think this place is so great.

A wonderful hotel, located right next door to paleis 't Loo (Royal palace). Lots of things to do in Apeldoorn (Apenheul/Monkey Zoo, museum 't Loo, woods and a beautiful city center). You can rent a bike and tour the country site. The hotel has nice rooms (a bit dated) and a indoor swimming pool. Very friendly staff!! The breakfast is a buffet (with lots of choices). Lunch and dinner are expensive, when travelling on a budget the city center of Apeldoorn has lots of good restaurants.
