This is a verry nice and clean hotel. Frieldly staff and the speak english 80% at the front desk which is nice if you don't speak dutch. Restaurant is OK I prefered PIET HEINZ on the other side of the dunes on the beach. Great food and the wait staff does speak english for the most part. Any restaurant in town that has a english speaking waiter/waitress will always help you with the menu. Oh back to the hotel I am here in July and the rooms do not have A/C which is unpleasant in the day but it get's cool at night and it is ok with the door open. ENjoy the town of Vlissingen it is verry nice do the shopps on Mallwalk I think they call it. There is a good Greek restaurant ion the strip called CRETE i think but it is on a corner half way down the walk.

We were there during the rainy season, and the hotel was absolutely lovely. Fantastic restaurant, great buffet breakfast, and very new and modern rooms. Though it rained non-stop, we had a very romantic stay, and the place to ourselves.

I stayed at this hotel for one night in August 2004.

The hotel is located at a North Sea beach, you just have to cross the dunes on the 2-min walk. The location is somewhat remote, I think the hotel can only be reached by car and is difficult to find without a navigation system. As I was travelling by car, this was not a problem.

The room was nice and clean. All rooms had terraces or balkonies. The breakfast was continental plus eggs und sausages. You got fresh orange juice for breakfast, I haven't had fresh OJ in any other Golden Tulip hotel.

I would definitely stay here again if I were in the area.
