At 48 Euro a night this hotel was great value for money. Stayed here for three nights in March 2008. Nice clean room, a bit small. Nice bath room. Excellent breakfast for a three star hotel - great bread and good coffee. Near metro station and airport bus. o not miss the Gulbenkian Museum just around th corner. Would stay there again.

We stayed here for 4 nights (50 Euros per night, booked directly with the hotel). The location is excellent: quite central and very close to the tube stations. They are building a new tube station across the street, so ask for a room that's not facing the street.
The staff was amazing: is seemed that all they wanted is to make us happy..
We got a huge room (I think it was a suite) with 2 tv's, 2 AC's, a great bed and so on... Room was very clean...
Breakfast was great, with great selection of food.
Parking is under the hotel and costs 6 Euros per night.

All in all, a huge experience. This is defintely a great hotel, especially for the price.

We stayed seven nights in January 2008 and paid €48 per night, a great value tourist hotel. Rooms were always cleaned when we returned in the evening, basic room with en suite toilet & shower. Breakfast from 07:30, good, usual juice (lower end of expectation), good coffee, breads, pastries, ham, cheese, butter jams, cereal, yoghurt, etc.
Not city center, but very accessible by metro (20 mins. city center) or bus.
Close to Gulbenkian museum (10 mins on foot). Metro 10 min away, Sao Sebastiao station. Sales on in January, good discounts available 10-50% off. El Corte Ingles (dept. store) right over metro station.
Very helpful English speaking staff on the desk.
Noisy on street in mornings, from about 07:00, new metro station under construction in front of hotel.
Highly recommended if you are looking for a good value tourist hotel.
